Ok here is my take on snake and tiger woman. I am not a fan of the outfit , however I have to say that she is clearly enjoying herself. It`s a fact that she really enjoys high fashion. Her fashion shows are becoming a tradition in Paris. Consider the fact that she doesn`t do drugs, she doesn`t drink, she doesn`t have lovers all over the place, she doesn`t do nude, If this is her going crazy mode, so be it! Enjoy the vibe Celine! There is a definite possibility that the whole fashion thing has gone too far. They've had fun, got some good publicity. But this is Celine, the media will just turn on her if she keeps stepping out in this sort of stuff.

It's not my favorite look but I don't think it's "vile" or "horrendous." I actually really like the boots/leggings and the T-shirt combo and I like the coat on it's own but not all together.

 

I love that she's taking risks, and as long as she feels good in it who are we to judge?

 

The one thing that has always irked me is the press she gets comparing her to the Kardashians for wearing Balmain... Celine's been rocking Balmain since 2007, when the Kardashians were still dressing like Jersey Shore rejects and didn't even know what Balmain was. :glare:

Of course she should enjoy herself I do not disagree with you on that. And no I do not think that the media should dictate everything she does, but it's that fine balance between them being behind you or mocking you. Some of these outfits are beyond bad and that is why I feel they need toning down a bit before the really start to generate the wrong king of attention. As several people have said in this thread, just loosing the awful jacket here would have made all the difference!

The "Une Seule Fois" release sold more than 100.000 copies worldwide which is far from being bad considering that it's a Francophone concert and was available as pay-per-view on TV 9 months before the release if the DVD/Blu-Ray. In comparison the "Live A Paris" VHS/DVD sold around 140.000 copies worldwide which is not a big difference considering there was a lot less piracy back in the 90's and early 00's. I feel like at this point she's just going for the shock value. It's like Madonna circa Sex book era. Tiresome, and a lot will see it as a desperate cry for attention. And the crazy price tags don't help her reputation either; most will not know she probably gets this stuff from designers just for the photo op, and will see it as totally off-base.

LAP had a sales resurgence when the DVD was released. Most probably because people who bought the DVD were fans who were updating their collection and wanted the DVD for the quality. So I would say that half or less than of those sales were from the initial VHS release. The 140,000 copies sold is a combination of both editions of that concert.

 

100,000 is definitely not bad for USF. But the trend right now is digital and streaming, and DVD/BluRay sales are falling. 100,000 physical DVD copies could be a stretch in 2017.

Today's outfit looks as if She is going for rehearsals, in a rock-ish mood, on a late August day.

As if you tried to add a Kenzo like casual tshirt to your tights and stilettos; the colours are autumn-ish, maybe the trendy duster coats become longer in the fall collection?

Anyway, it's all part of the daily outfit showing/shocking routine.

For me, both Paris and London felt chilly these days, with just a tshirt on, as i am used to desert like temperatures.

Looking forward to seeing the new outfits, as this one shall soon be forgotten

See, that's just your opinion, in my opinion the coat is amazing, as so several also said in this thread!. So you're saying she should lose it just because you don't like it?

Celine is a free agent and does not need nor did she solicit your negativity.

Indeed, that's why a digital release only would be fine. At least better than nothing.

Lesson learned for us rookies, private sharing in the future...

I do understand the usefulness of such a fan account, but it is highly disrespectful on so many levels what this kid does.

I will just keep reporting him for now, but since I later noticed self and family images in my video, I might take proper legal action.
