I just saw the whole video of the proposal. The guy popped the question during BYLM and Celine stopped and pointed it out then forgot she was singing BYLM... LOL!

 

It is awesome! She tells them to put it on YouTube tomorrow! And they did!

Hey guys , I have been watching the Today Show back from July (which is still on my DVR) , I was thinking why cant she wear that silver suit /outfit , that she had on that day,, for her show now, I also like the outfit she had on for BBMA, for the TSMGO, Better then what she has on now, I also like the outfit she had for the summer mini-tour for both Paris /Montreal , Her team really needs to find someone else to do her outfits ,

I love this so much! She was so FUNNY and Spot on with Cheap Thrills. And Sia acknowledged it! Lol Yes!!!

 

Adele did kinda mention Celine last year in a rolling stone interview regarding her song Hello...she said it was like the perfect combination of various artists and Celine was one of them...Gotta see if I can find the link.

Among the many outtakes from 25 is one song Adele is particularly excited about, written with "Hello" co-writer Greg Kurstin.

"I feel like I'm a bit young tossing it right now, but it's a really great, great song," she says. "It's like Celine meets Meat Loaf meets, like, Barbra meets, like, Beyoncé or something. It's, like, all of my wet-dream idols [laughs]. But it's really, really great, actually. We didn't finish it in time, and also it just felt like maybe I should be, like, 32 when I do it rather than 27? And there's definitely four or five other songs that I would definitely revisit. And it depends what place I'm at in my life, then. It might be completely irrelevant to me, then. I don't want to put a song on the record just because it's good if I can't relate to it."

She did a very small snippet from Tears For Fears, "Shout" I loved that song!

That was so awesome and funny how the orchestra just instantly came in, like they rehearsed it or something and we knew they didn't. I couldn't believe when she was all, "you guys remember Simon? We're all winners here tonight" then does the gong/beep/no sound. Simon never made that sound actually but how funny she remembers/knows who he is. Then she's all, "this is the longest because you lvoed me of my life." Too funny. I laughed so hard. Awesome, and so special for that couple. she was so excited for them too, clearly.

That's because Sia is a grateful and humble human being, like Céline. They're both in the same league. Unlike Adele. She's more on the arrogant league of Mariah Carey and such :innocent:

I don't remember well, but I think Adele twitted something when Celine was singing Rolling In The Deep in her show a fe years ago. But it's not about that, I was referring to the attitude between these "divas" and personalities. Celine, Sia and Adele are very different kinds of singers, Adele being on the antipodean of the class and manners that both Celine and Sia have. That's why I said she's closer to how Mariah Carey behaves and Sia's closer to Celine. Not to mention that the massive success that Adele had clearly went to her head :)

Yeah remember for En Direct De L'Univers they played "A song For You" (The Carpenters) and said something about how they play it during soundcheck to make Céline happy? She probably does a lot of stuff during the soundcheck, we just never ever know ;)

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

Yes Javito I've always seen that Sia is much closer to Celine in personality. Adele would be like Mariah Carey which I'm neither fan of but awesome for those who are :)

I would love to see her sound checks. I bet she does all kinds of cool stuff and has a lot of fun. I still love that small clip we say of her improvising andhc at her last vegas sound check of a new day.

Adele is actually much more mature than Mariah when it comes to attitude. She isn't exactly arrogant. She just doesn't care what people think, and she's very straight forward and honest. Whereas, Mariah tries to act 20 years younger than she actually is and I believe all of that comes from a mixture of insecurity and mental instability.

I am definitely up for changes in the show, for sure. I do love the white/silvery curtain coming down in the beginning though. I think "I Surrender" is a good song, and it works, but what do you guys think about her doing "I Want You to Need Me" with the curtain coming down. I think with the arrangement on the CD, that would work great, and of course Scott & Co could add some great new orchestration to it as well.

 

What do y'all think?

"Live (For The One I Love), If Walls Could Talk" - doesn't anyone like this songs? "Incredible" should be remove and replace it with "I'm Your Angel". "Falling Into You, If You Asked Me To" -- Did she ever perform this song "I Love You" live? She has so many great songs!!! Why she doesn't add them?

I think "I Want You To Need Me" sounded dated in 1999, and even more so now. It's like they wanted to see how overproduced and bombastic they could make the song.

I have a strong feeling that next year, a lot of fans will be very happy for a few different reasons.

 

Will we finally hear "then you look at me" live with the orchestra and have a few other little surprises.

I really do believe that 2017 is the "best to come" from Celine :)

Thank god, I thought I was the only one! Can't stand that song! If she thinks the show is slow now adding that song would send me into a coma...... :sick:

i didn't like the black dress as well, not for opening the concert.. i don't know if the upgrade on her wardrobe is a good thing or not lol idk what her new stylist can pick for her..

I would, like everyone else, love to see then you look at me in the show. I could live without If you asked me to, although I do agree that if it gets put in it should go right after where does my heart beat now. Falling into you, I'd love it. I'm your angel, too often done due to TC tour. It would make the show even slower, I agree. I may be the minority here, but I would not at all mind I want you to need me in the show. I'd be okay with that. I would like to see Incredible removed and a new along from LMBTL put in its place, like maybe didn't know love or thank you.
