But you have that material already, widespread in dozens of albums in her discography. I think she deserves the chance to record that kind of album, if it really pleases her that much (and according to the unceasing references to Sia since 2015, she does!)

 

All I say is that one album, full of uptempo, contemporary music, it won't hurt :)

 

I'm also amazed by the ability of sacrifice she has, professionally talking, just because she's thinking "the fans" want to see her singing all those boring same old hits time after time. And then she's been singing for decades the same English setlist. But in every show, you can see she's clearly looking forward to that moment of relax and chat, that kind of break she chats with the audience, where she can let her loose and improvise the songs she really wants! There's no denying of that. The poor girl is sick of the same songs night after night, while the songs that really wake her up and make her smile and move are other completely different tunes! :doh: :whistling:

 

Someone really needs to tell her that there's another potential side of her fanbase that wouldn't die to see her singing a full show with her improvisations of Sia's, Riahanna's and the rest of the gang songs, all those fun, dance and uptempo songs, because she truly nails them (and she needs them too)

 

Yes, but if she tired of the "same old boring songs", she could change her setlist. She has so many great songs to choose from.

I just saw the whole video of the proposal. The guy popped the question during BYLM and Celine stopped and pointed it out then forgot she was singing BYLM... LOL!

 

Aside from Ramona's FB, is there somewhere else we can watch this??

I understand why Celine likes to do covers, but I would love an album full of original songs. I love it when she does up-tempo songs, so it would be fine if there were many of these with a few ballads. I am still curious about why she doesn't do some of her English catalog onstage-those beautiful songs that we never hear. Are they difficult to sing? Was she not fond of them in the first place? I can see why some of the lyrics are difficult for her now as most of them are about love, but MHWGO and ABM would be impossible in this sense also. ( I am ready for ABM to go on the shelf. It is a cover, difficult to sing and too emotional for her now. )

Hearing that makes me miss Rene so much. I don't know if anyone will understand what I mean here but when Rene was around I always felt like Celine was safe i never worried about her even as just a fan cause I knew Rene would never let anything bad happen to her or her career.

That improvisation she did of Cheap Thrills is just the best spontaneous cover she has done in many years. And the best minute of the Vegas show delivered this year to me. Period. Kudos for the orchestra arrangements too :wub: :)

exactly, and during her world tour Adele mentioned literally every single artist except Celine, she should show some respect -_-
