Kinda funny last Saturday after I met Celine and we were back in our seats I said to my mom I will never wash my hand again. So anyways as a joke I started to rub my hand all over my face going oh gimme your infection Celine and me and my mom were laughing. I had mentioned Celine's voice still sounded a tad bit funny from her viral infection. Well funny thing is my chords are completely shot now. I've been trying to not talk for a the past two days but its so hard. Anyways found it kinda funny and wanted to share.

Somebody has been making fun of her voice problems. It's mostly vegas stuff, and the uploader edited a few clips as well.

In the last weeks she did a little improvement, but still too nasal/dry! Nothing like in Antwerp 2016, absolutely not like August/September 2015. Hope she gets back with a better vocal routine and less shows. Less playback too u.u

That's so stupid , we all know that those videos of All by myself and Are you watching me know were recorded the 23rd of february, we all know what kind of horrible night and period it was for Celine... Stupid...

 

They picked the 2016 performances of Celine (were she still mourning) it's disrespectful for me

She was at her funniest during the speech before the acoustic medley. I watched it thanks to Ramona's live video on Facebook, but I'm quite not sure of how to post it here since every time I try to post a Facebook video it just doesn't work for some reason.

Céline covered Sia's "Cheap Thrills" last night and the orchestra even joins her now, and they nailed it! Now that was an improvisation I enjoyed :wub: To make it short, I think it's the only moment that has got me excited since she came back to Vegas :giggle: Give me any of this natural improvisations of fresh music instead of those random and forced warbles she does in MHWGO and ABM, and you truly can say she's enjoying her performance and she's not acting the moment. Give us more of those moments, Celine, please!

 

Now on another side of things, if she was paid every time she has mentioned or covered Sia either in TV or in Vegas in the last 1 year and a half, I think Céline would be even richer than she is already :giggle:

 

Not to mention that she's screaming out loud to sing this kind of songs in Sia style all the time ^_^ . The problem comes when she enters the studio and records the same old boring stuff of centuries ago. Why doesn't she record full albums with these uptempo songs that she enjoys covering live so much? :wtf:

I can't believe a couple got engaged during the show! That is so so sweet! Now I need to figure out how to do that when I get married, which won't be for a long time :giggle:

 

And that version of Cheap Thrills was amazing! Céline and the band/orchestra got it just right. I know I'm in the minority, but i'd be interested to see how it went if they did the full blown song. I'm not personally in love with covers, but if she gets into it as much as she does with cheap thrills, I think it could be something really really good!

Looks like a good crowd last night. What I find funny, in a sad way, is that the audience sings out when it's not her songs and clams up when she asks them to sing hers.

She does, but then they decide to showcase the truly most amazing only new uptempo song "Incredible" and her ballads.

 

I think she recorded a new french album full of uptempo songs she loves to perform so much.

But I think somewhere in the meetings they decided to do a one minute french jazz song.

And let those amazing uptempo songs "she loves performing live and because she doesn't have many dance songs to play in clubs" get the status: just sang live once for her album just to be forgotten and neglected....

Call me oldfashion, but I don't want Celine singing these boring and monotonous Sia songs (LMBTL is nice but it doesn't scream Celine).

People love Celine for her big ballads. So I want a new english album with fresh modern ballads and few uptempo songs.

Absolutely. But to be honest, I don't think Sia is interested in writing a full album to anybody, not to mention the large figure that she would charge for that work haha :P

People love Celine for her big ballads. So I want a new english album with fresh modern ballads and few uptempo songs.

 

But you have that material already, widespread in dozens of albums in her discography. I think she deserves the chance to record that kind of album, if it really pleases her that much (and according to the unceasing references to Sia since 2015, she does!)

 

All I say is that one album, full of uptempo, contemporary music, it won't hurt :)

 

I'm also amazed by the ability of sacrifice she has, professionally talking, just because she's thinking "the fans" want to see her singing all those boring same old hits time after time. And then she's been singing for decades the same English setlist. But in every show, you can see she's clearly looking forward to that moment of relax and chat, that kind of break she chats with the audience, where she can let her loose and improvise the songs she really wants! There's no denying of that. The poor girl is sick of the same songs night after night, while the songs that really wake her up and make her smile and move are other completely different tunes! :doh: :whistling:

 

Someone really needs to tell her that there's another potential side of her fanbase that wouldn't die to see her singing a full show with her improvisations of Sia's, Riahanna's and the rest of the gang songs, all those fun, dance and uptempo songs, because she truly nails them (and she needs them too)

I just saw the whole video of the proposal. The guy popped the question during BYLM and Celine stopped and pointed it out then forgot she was singing BYLM... LOL!
