Are there any other pictures of this new gold dress? I would love to get a good shot of the back of it. This dress is stunning and Celine looks stunning in it! :wub:

Just wanted to add my two cents -- I was at the show last night and the new gold dress looks *amazing* on stage. The way the lights catch it and make it sparkle is really beautiful. I thought she sounded GREAT, and the only stumble I noticed were on the high notes in CHFIL. She joked during the whole show and was in a great mood. Not sure how it was earlier in the week, but she had the whole crowd "rehearse" singing with her during "You're The Voice," and the audience seemed to enjoy it. I liked having the same setlist as the Asia tour, though I still find the combination of songs in the string medley to be a bit odd, because those three songs seem like a random combination to me, but it does sound great. (I LOVE that version of At Seventeen, and Unison sounded great.) I would've liked Think Twice in the show, but she spent probably 15 minutes telling the Deadpool story, so that cut into singing time 😉😂.

 

Additionally, as I've been noticing billboards and signs around town, they are advertising the show more as "Celine Dion: The Final Shows" rather than "Celine," which kind of helped me to think of it as sort of a new show, actually, since it's so different than the previous version. That said, I really hope they've already recorded the previous version and will release it, since I feel like that's more what we all think of when we think of this second residency, rather than this "new" iteration of the show.

 

(And one more thing: I have loved the green/silver LCMM/RDMH dress since I first saw pictures of it, but seeing it on stage just made me love it even more. It's just such a fun look!)

Do we know if (when?) the twins have seen the show?

Last I remember her talking about it was c. summer 2016, when she was telling interviewers they haven't seen mommy on stage yet.

Have they since?

Surely she'd want them to see her at Caesars before she closes shop there, seeing as it's been such a huge part of her life.

Time will tell who was wrong and right in the end ;) In 2019, after she's done, when she'll presumably will open up and talk about the real reasons for not renewing and all the ulterior motives and difficulties in between.

 

I don't need to prove anything for blind people living in denial that blindly believe only the part that comes from her mouth and all the glittery and wonder that happens while she's singing on stage. It's not my fault if you stop there and never wanted to see further behind. And I said enough about who told me what and who said what. I don't need to prove anything in a forum where I have kindly and unselfishly shared unreleased material that I could have kept to myself and don't say a f****** word about its existence. However I was happy to share it with this forum. I show my enthusiasm and love for what I like as well as my loathing for what I don't in equal parts, and I'll never apologise for that. I don't need to play that absurd game of showing or losing credibility because someone else told me something directly coming from another singer. There's no absurd telephone game here (wish it was just that and it was all an invention of me to draw attention :doh: ). And if then a member with only 10 posts come to write a lecture of something she has been told, when we don't even have the slightest news about anything Celine related these days, at least she has my attention (and respect). But this forum is specialised in ridiculing others when they don't agree with something. I don't care if what she said is truth or not, because I already know what I know, and that's enough for me ;) I don't need nor I'm looking for anybody to back or support my views here, and anyone who has this in his mind couldn't be more wrong. But anyway, sharing things and opinions in this place became quite useless here and time-consuming after all.

 

Believe what you want to believe, attack whoever you want to attack, mock, ridicule... In the meantime you can always fill pages with the one and only great magnificent novelty in the show, a new Celine Dion... DRESS!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :clap:

 

Celine is worth more for what she hides and doesn't say than for what she actually says. Someday you'll learn this (because she'll show us) :thumbsup2: :bye1:

OMG. What happened to RDMH? It used to be a nasally weird pronounced perf the last 10 years and now it's so damn good. 😉 Fierce, strong and sexy vocals (and attitude too).

Javito, you are losing your marbles. You sure have a funny way of showing your enthusiasm and love. You mock Céline and her team more than you praise them. Sure at times it's deserved but after unleashing your Céline (and personal?) frustration every single day on this forum, give it a rest. Your posts are 90% negative (and no need to reply "here we can't say anything negative about Céline bla bla..."

 

And as for Lara Fabian, well she's a Céline wanna-be and very envious/jealous of Céline so anything coming from her about Céline is more than suspicious. Yes, it's my opinion and don't try to change it. :-D

Am glad that she has picked up a bit since Tuesday. i thought she would. Also glad that they are switching outfits, it badly needed to happen and the new dress looks a lot better.

 

Having paid a lot of money to be there it is slightly disappointing that they didn't do this before the show started again. It does feel that the first show back was a bit cobbled together and now they are up and running things have improved. It shouldn't really be like that.

 

Still enjoyed it though and I don't regret going at all.

Ok thanks. I think that’s a good idea because it just doesn’t work with TPOL.

 

So do they still open the red curtain to reveal the stage? Or is it open when people are walking in like AND was?

No the red curtain is over the stage, it then opens up for the TPOL intro etc. Like the tour but with a curtain lol

I’m just watching the full show from Friday, and man was she good!

 

I Loved how she dedicated “Recovering” to the Pittsburgh victims.

 

Also enjoyed her more relaxed mood versus the first shows back. Celine has never been her best at premieres, she almost always takes a few shows to warm up! Much better than the first two shows this leg!

She should just sing the song lol , forget that speech, I’d rather hear a speech about one of her big hits, maybe there’s a story behind TTWII or BYLM.

I would love to be able to save them to my PC and I can only seem to find 1 pic of the new dress on Facebook to save. I know there are other fabulous pictures that I would love to have and I would really appreciate the help. :)
