Agreed, judging by the videos, Love Is All We Need sucked all the built up energy from the show.

Why’d you say that? I think it was rather great. She obviously loved doing that number.

She loved singing it, but it was kind of a moment that the generaal audience was bored. I would say bring back the medley from Cooenhagen but skip LIAWN.

It’s vegas and she needs to pull in tourists, casual fans and high rollers... but she must be careful not to forget the die hards who travel there just to see her year after year and who have and will spend alot of money on anything she releases and who love to see the odd rare song like we seen in 2017 in Europe.

 

This years tour was an anticlimax after last years and I’d love to know why.

 

No Aldo?

Does her team lack vision and motivation?

Is Celine herself bored and tired?

 

I for one was shocked she chose WLIAWN

I love the song and it’s rare, but why stop there this year?

 

 

So with tickets prices at crazy prices for next year and only a few shows left... how about adding more rare songs of her own for those die hard fans to compensate for such crazy bloody ticket prices. The die hards will always be there... the high rollers and casual fans won’t, they just fancy a night out to see a legend when they are in town or to hear Titanic!

 

Remember... “it’s all about balance” right?!?

That's definitely new, I'm not sure if they're using actual thunder sounds or if it's percussion, but it's much more noticeable and adds more impact than before. :thumbsup2:

I am very surprised that there isn't that much video and picture footage of that beautiful new gold dress yet. It has a gorgeous back to it. I hope someone eventually captures the back of the dress! :-D Hopefully it will happen tonight.

Ill admit that ending note on CHFIL was better than others but its now shortened and without the first higher run....ugh come on. This is why i hate a great tour moment being sucked dry of its magic...the vegas effect.

Based on those clips, it’s percussion, not a thunder sound bite.

Holy crap, guys! Not only did I finally see Celine Dion live, but I got to MEET her! I’m not going to lie, I was so nervous, my hands were sweating and my heart was beating out of my chest.. But, last night exceeded my expectations in every way. The show was absolutely incredible, her talent is beyond compare, and better yet, she is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. This will be a night I will always remember!

After Celine announced her final shows, I booked my flight to Vegas two months ago without even having tickets.. I told some of my friends to join me but even if they didn’t come, I would’ve gladly gone by myself. Luckily I have an amazing boyfriend that was more than willing to join me so thank you @derekhough! But a HUGE thank you to @riawna and @kristysowin for helping make my childhood dream come true! ♥️ - Hayley Erbert

people, I actually don’t hear any thunder sound at all :D It’s just the orchestra.

 

And by the way, Scott did a great job on the 2017 I’m alive version, but this 2018 version is terrible. It reminds me of Megos crap version with those drums. He should just use the keyboard and remove those drums, this is terrible! Play the Humberto Gatica version!

I wonder if the water screen had a technical malfunction? She switches to the wireless mic so the cord won’t get caught up in the screen/get wet, so I wonder why she didn’t just use the cordless... hmm. Maybe change is on the horizon.

That’s why I am happy the magnificent 2017 tour stayed in 2017. Memories to be cherised. This setlist is way better than the previous Vegas show, but it also takes away something from the tour. There are so many songs she could end the show with.
