Of course she can do other projects, and I love all she does. What bothers me is the fact that she is showing so much passion for things not related to music and she seems not interested at all in her own music. I know the album is not out yet, but let's remember that even though 2017 tour was amazing in many aspects, she was promoting Encore Un Soir in French dates, and she only sang 4 songs from the album. She seemed more interested in being photograped outside the hotel than in singing her new songs. And I fear the same will happen with the new album, as has happened before with LMBTL, SA, D'elles, etc.

The thing is that even though she puts effort in the studio to record the album, she seems no interested at all in singing her new songs .

Everyone thinks she isn’t excited about the album; I don’t think that’s the case. After watching the latest interview a few times she seemed annoyed with that whole interview, she looked tired. It was just after show and she probably wanted to be home instead.

Well I think she is excited, but that she's also holding herself in. Maybe because of past experiences or because she just want to wait till the end result before getting really excited. She also knows things can change all the time. In the past she did show some more enthousiasm when she's in the studio recording a new album, but to be fair, she's rarely doing interviews atm...

Just back from Vegas, saw her shows on Nov 13-14th. The set list was the same as others posted except on Nov 13th she did "Recovering" right after "Beauty & The Beast", but she didn't do it on Nov 14th. That show started a little later for some reason and she seemed a bit off with the show. Nothing big but the night before seemed to go like clockwork. The 14th show started later, she was getting her lines a little messed up when talking - just little things. She sounded great both nights. Another thing I noticed was on both nights there were on 2 backup singers - Elise and Barnev but I saw video from earlier shows in November that had all 3. Also, that speech/talk she doesn't before "Ashes" is too long, it's cute but she could do it a lot quicker. I think she loses the audience a bit.

 

They said both shows were sold out, the audience was pretty good but every time I go I never seem to get seated next to any other big fans that have any kind of energy. Those people are always like 4-5 seats away. The ones next to me always just sit there and watch while I'm really into it clapping, yelling, dancing. Most of the time it's an older straight couple and the guy sits next to me and I know he's only there because his wife wanted to go. LOL

 

Another thing i noticed that I never saw or heard about before is that right after "To Love You More" people rush the stage for the last 4 songs before she comes back out for "My Heart Will Go On". They did that both nights. So cool!

 

I do love this setlist and wish I was lucky enough to get a ticket for June 8th but maybe I'll go again in the spring. Everything there is so expensive though-the show tix, the store, the food!

Maybe she seemed off on the 14 because that was the day after the Celinununu commercial and the day her interview for it aired. She might have been a bit nervous because of it. Or maybe just tired.

That could be what some people have told her as well... But it can certainly affect her state of mind.

I'm sure it will pass quickly though.

Nothing new said other than she is staying in Vegas after the residency ends (although I think we had that said in an article).

I miss watching a full show and especially from the front rows. Lately not many clips are being uploaded :mellow: Hope we can get lucky and have few good videos before the end of LV.

Shania has seen Celine perform so many times! She’s such a supportive sweetheart who truly admires Celine.

 

I wonder if Shania is coming back to Vegas?

OR should I wait and see if she announces a US tour OR even a Canadian tour and I would go to a US show or go to Montreal(Canada) to see her???? Go to Vegas!

 

Try to sit in the front orchestra if you can. You can sit as close as ROW 4 for $250/seat all the way through the March shows. And you can RUSH the stage if you're sitting in that area -- which is fabulous. :w00t:

 

While in Vegas, go see a couple Cirque shows. (They offer discounted tickets on their actual website.)

Montreal is by far the best place to see her, though nothing beats Caesars Palace as a venue.

I know, and we have yet to see Celine attend Shanias show. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t, but most likely she hasn’t or we would’ve seen photo. I know Shania has seen Celine 3 times in Vegas, and a couple times In Canada one during her summer tour a couple years ago and once for the TC World Tour.

 

Actually I don’t we have seen Celine attend any headliner show in Vegas except from Cher in 2009ish. Does anyone know if she saw Jennifer Lopez, Bette Midler, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Backstreet Boys, Gwen Stefani, Garth Brooks, Wayne Newton, Donny & Marie or Bruno Mars?

I adore her French material, though I don’t understand every word cause I can’t speak it fluently, I am learning it so I can, but again not fluent in the language at all—. I might just have to flip a coin lol

I'd say go to Vegas simply because we really don't know what the plans are for after June. :)
