I think it s sure she will sing IA Ttwii and idan on tour. She sang it yesterday and she may find rehearsals are ok so she can save her voice for 3 songs.

Hi everyone -

 

I was at both last nights and tonight's show. Only real differences tonight were IA and TTWII were swapped at the beginning, and no IDAN. She talked a lot more tonight, too, and the show started 35 min late. She later apologized and said it was because she had a "wardrobe malfunction."

 

I recorded audio of the entire show start to finish from the front row tonight. Should be pretty clear. I can share with you all as soon as I can get it off my phone and onto my computer in the next few days.

I have a couple of your other recordings, they're wonderful, too so I am sure this will be also. She started twenty-five minutes late on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Wow, though at the reeeeeeeally late start tonight. I'm wondering, guys, if that's why songs were cut. Although, just to clarify, were IA and TTWII in a different order or was one cut? I always love it when she talks, so I would have been okay with that. I also agree I would rather cut LCMM/RDMH as opposed to IA or TTWII! Although I was a few minutes' delay behind Ramona, I am so thankful she was streaming tonight!

Yes - tonight people came running down early...after the quartet medley (Unison ending) I think people got overzealous and thought that the funk medley was next. Security didn’t stop them, though, so pit started early tonight!

from what i've seen, it looks like the audience loves TLYM! i hope that it gives her and her team idea of how people loves that song, and maybe include it in the spring vegas run

This dance really doesn't have the same impact as Le Ballet. I mean it's not terrible, but it doesn't really add much to the song. It's just a bit bland.

 

I suppose it 's an excuse to invite Pepe on tour, if he's part of her team he needs something more than picking her outfits to do.

she is sounding more and more whiny/stuffed/dry and she is pitchy on most of the songs (i'm alive, that's the way it is, think twice, the reason, andhc). to love you more was great for recent standards. falling into you was extremely whiny. it saddens me to listen to her voice in that shape. da** you vegas. i so hope she will be in much better shape for the tour.

We've been complaining and wishing so hard for 15 years that Céline performed songs of her discography that she had never sang before on the stage, before her voice matured and changed and sounded different from the studio recording. But it was helpless. Nobody in her team listened, and apparently nobody in her team realized that she was losing a precious chance in that stage of her own to perform every single song of her repertoire each night if she wanted. At least to give the songs a chance to shine on the stage and show the public how they sound live. But it was all futile.

 

Now she is performing FIY finally, it's better late than never, but no song of hers recorded 10/20 years ago is going to sound like in the studio recording now, unfortunately. We have to accept that.

Pepe and French songs suit him, they go together, he should stick to a French sensual song

 

I have a late whim with L'abandon. Guys that song is damn sensua and sexy and even erotic Given that it's a summer tour and the song is also about the sunny days, I wish Céline did perform this song with Pepe in a hot dance...

 

Btw, the outfit she wears during FIY is SO wrong lol. It doesn't suit the song nor her AT ALL. Just saying.

I think "Somebody Loves Somebody" is the best song to represent her last album on stage and even tho as a whole LMBTL isn't my favorite album it should have at least one song that represents the album on this tour.

 

That assuming "At Seventeen" can represent the LMBTL album at all, since the song was originally performed in her 2011 version of the Vegas show, and then was included by force in the studio album

 

I just don't get why returning back in time with a song she had already included in the 2011 show, and then it was removed from the setlist years ago. It had its time already!

 

(Not to mention that the best and original version of the song was in the 2008 Grammy Nominations event, 10 frigging years ago! )

I'm sorry but FIY is still not performed on stage.

It's quite obvious that pre recorded vocals are rushed and done without any direction and producer to make them sound live.

We finally have a great setlist, but something had to be wrong... the outfits!! I only like that black dress and maybe, just maybe, that Christmas dress mixed with some Valentine's detailing... And that gold outfit, noooo a blazer again!!

And that large FIY potato bag has to go! Please!!! Why is it that they can't get both a great setlist AND great outfits all in one??

I highly agree. That being said, this beautiful new arrangement is definitely how she should have performed the song back in the 2013 European Tour. Remember she initially included it on the setlist but quickly got removed after she realized the poor response from the audience? At least this new arrangement brings something new to the song.

 

 

Anyway, as beautiful as this version is, I don't understand why (again) she didn't include one of her more obscure songs. I know I say it every year, but Where Is The Love is the perfect song to start an acoustic medley.

 

 

The acoustic medley from the 2016 Summer Tour is still my very favorite one to this day: Three songs that she had never sung live before followed by an acapella performance of yet another song of hers that she had never performed live.
