I have a feeling someone told her to pay more attention to her pronounciation, because in the last show you can hear sing/speak each word properly, opposed to before. Haven't listened to every song, but I noticed it in Ashes, and the acoustic and Prince medley's..

 

English is not my first language so yes i have to admit that sometimes i need to rewind the video to listen carefully of what the word she is saying... i am confuse with letter vs ladder, mail vs milk when she says it.

Thanks! I do get what you mean because I've sat in the front orchestras every single time I've gone and I've barely ever looked at the screens except last time cause we were right beside it but it didn't work except during the medley. But I remember the time I had to cancel (due my still somewhat unexplained infection) I had tickets for the upper levels and at the time I was unhappy about it wishing that the screens worked. So for those higher up I think the screens are beneficial. Plus I may be a bit biased I've always been a huge sucker for the screens even when I was young lol always felt like I was watching it on dvd. Maybe I'm just bizarre.

I noticed they aren't billing these new dates as the beginning of the "Final Year" as rumored to be coming down the strip. Will that be the next set of dates for March/April or, because of the recent cancellations, has the "Final Year" now been pushed into 2020? Thoughts?

 

Can hope come out of ashes?! I think it can! We've got the tour and a possible 2 month area where we could get the new English album. Things are about to get very exciting! The Celine train is about to get rolling!

Honestly I think Caesars is going to do whatever they can to keep her. With Elton now gone, and Mariah only coming back for selected dates, they need an anchor artist. I can see them giving her time to do a small US tour next year in the summer and having the contract reflect that.

I think if it is released in Late Aug / Early Sep, that gives time for TV promo (which shes never had the proper time to do) and possibly the allowance of a small US tour even though it has been prohibited before.

 

Id say she would do like 15 shows in a few big US cities :

 

New York City

Miami

LA

Boston

Dallas

Hawaii (hopefully / maybe)

Or if not Hawaii, Denver or Washington DC

Weve needed an English counterpart to JJG for YEARS who sees beyond Celine the diva power balladeer. Hes done pop,rock'ballads,synth etc.

Yeah, first she needs a “concept album” and some topics to sing about but avoiding cheesy lyrics, and then she needs a main producer and a reduced team of people no more than 3-4 songwriters/producers who supervise all the work (like she had in 1f&4t)...

 

Ahhh I guess this isn’t coming for her English career, it’s just wishful thinking (her French works are another different story fortunately)

 

I think we’re probably getting another mixed bag of songwriters and producers for this new album, like she had for LMBTL, but hopefully this time the result is far better and superior than then!

LMBTL was rushed? Excuse me? They had more than 2 years for that project, and they went back and forth with the Vegas covers/no Vegas covers for more than a year, beating around the bush all that time with the concept.

 

They didn’t know how to separate and keep her Vegas show apart from recording a music album and that’s why the album looked like it looks in the end.

 

Now they had more time yes, more than 3 years in the making for this album. But knowing precedent things, that is no guarantee that we get a good album...
