I love that little humming thing she does right before the key-change and final chorus. And whoever the girl was that was singing along, she almost hit that note with her. Very cool. Thanks for sharing instagram videos as faithfully as you do!

As we all know, Mariah is getting ready to return to Caesars for a new show... she just gave 5 song poll on social media asking fans of what song should she include in the setlist.

 

Why does Céline never do that for real never! The only time she did that was for WCD I believe the public choose for Celine to perform TTWII, I remember that... but someone in her camp come on, fans here are ready to help lol, we still got time to assist in the summer and Vegas!!

If we could somehow, do a poll and get the results to Celine on paper on one of her meet n greets somehow, she wouldn't be able to ignore that TYLAM is a fan favorite and I bet she'd add it. But they seem to never just go ask the fans lol. She talks about not knowing how to choose 3 songs for a medley, got an idea Celine, don't lol...let us choose we are all more than willing!!

The only time i remember that was the oprah episode where she let fans choose. I cant exactly remember the requirements but im thinking fans were told to choose three songs and she would choose one....hence why we got a pretty standard set of songs. Imagine if someone's three choices would have been show some emotion, next plane out, and the greatest reward... LOL. I imagine anyone who picked an obscure song also chose something basic as well.

 

I also do remember mariah did this years ago with three songs and each night the fans voted on one. I think one of the three never won, not even once.. and one of them typically always did.

Anastacia asks her fans EACH and every show of her tours to pick a song among 3/4 different ones she rotates and changes, including both rare/never performed before songs of her own repertoire and covers. And she does it all via an app specifically created for that.

 

This is Anastacia, who is amazing, but doesn’t perform 1/10 shows Celine has the chance to do.

I remember that Asian lady interviewed her for tour promotion not long ago and Celine said to her multiple times " get me the list and ill sing them " lol ...i don't think its necessarily Celine, i just think Céline doesn't think about reaching out to ask fans, that's where someone from the team should've spoken up and said, "Celine we are gonna give the fans 3 songs to choose one for the new leg this month that will be the song we'll insert after BATB for each new leg of shows we'll change the song " I'd bet she'd think its a good idea, but someone in her team probably has to take the initiative and explain it to her, would've been Rene who should've done that in the past , then aldo, now managerless I wish Scott price would mention that her lol.

I agree a million percent!

 

Even if it's just one song each new leg of the Vegas show or each new tour, there's honestly no reason it shouldn't be done. Allow the fans to choose one, i don't even care what song would win, tho I have my favorites ; the point is give the fans some power!

To be fair though, Anastasia doesn’t have the back catalogue that Celine or Mariah has! A bit easier for her to prepare random songs because there’s less to choose from. But that said, Celine could easily do what Mariah is right now with the poll. It’ll be interesting to see if she performs the winning song!

Celine simply takes for granted her fans only and exclusively want to hear the same songs forever and until the end of days, and that’s as far as she goes with it :rolleyes:

Even the Bsides (“Underground Army” and “Saddest Part”) had been performed in the past during previous tours.

 

If Céline were to do something similar to this, she would probably include song like: Taking Chances, My Love, Think Twice, and LMBTL... which a lot of you moaned about when she included them in last year’s tour. So, honestly I wonder if some of you would even be happy if she had 10 songs that she rotated through the medley unless they were YOUR wants.
