I m really surprised that she DOESNT get the flu shot , with having kids and begin around and touching hands and all , that they don't make her do that,

 

Do you know if she doesn't?

 

The flu shot doesn't always work since the flu changes through the year..

I know 3 people that have got the flu this year and all had the flu shot. I made fun of them because they were bragging about having the flu shot and I didn't. That I was probably gonna get sick and they weren't haha. Not that I think it's funny to get the flu, don't get me wrong.

With the amount of medical attention she must have I would be surprised if she hadn't had one. Do we know she has flu? I thought I'd read virus that could mean any sort of winter cold or illness not just flu.

Yes I know, what I meant was that I thought the word virus had been used generally and that flu hadn't specifically been mentioned.

Inflammation of the throat isn’t flu. And if she had flu there’s no way her doctor would have said (after the first show cancellation) that she needed a few days off. Flu takes as long as it takes, different strains, people react and recover differently.

So I was supposed to attend Tuesday nights show, was super bummed since I had front row tix. But these things do happen, and I’m grateful I was planning on going next Tuesday the 16th, too. I just decided I Still was gonna be bummed if i didn’t at least try to see a second show, so I was able to snag a third row ticket for Saturday night!

 

While at the box office, I asked if they had heard anything yet about tomorrow’s performance. (Friday) They said they hadn’t officially, but as far as they knew the show was scheduled to go on as Céline was there last night (wednesday) doing a press conference. I asked and they didn’t know what the conference was for, but I’m guessing it was to record those videos for Jakarta’s concert and perhaps other Asian tour reveals? Just a guess! When I walked by the Colosseum last night I did see the door on the far right open with a security guard, so I was curious what was going on inside. Guessing that was it!

 

Hoping that tidbit means this weekend’s shows are a go, and Queen Céline is feeling better!

Well Australia she had a throat infection, and USA it was an upper respiratory tract infection and throat inflammation/ which is why it took her longer to get over it. I think this is what she had anyway.

Sometimes it’s better to cancel a few shows than to work through and end up cancelling weeks. Her doctor decides these things.

In fairness that was in June/July/August, this is January. Yes you can get summer colds but you are far more likely to get one at this time of year than at the time of year she has toured the last two years.

 

Especially being that fans come from colder climates where they do get sick easier. And then they go to the mosh pit and sneeze all over the stage.

Anyone else experiencing problems booking tickets through the AXS-site?

I've been trying to for days and everything looks normal, but I've tried like five different cards and I just can't seem to get through...There's absolutely nothing wrong with my cards (as per my bank) and I've bought my own tickets in November without a problem (same card)...

I tried calling box office, but same problem...

Ugh, so frustrating. Luckily I've got my own tix booked, because I'd be freaking out if I hadn't. lol

The tickets I want aren't on Ticketmaster yet unfortunately...

And they do know about this problem. If you Google it, you can see endless people complaining about this.

 

I also tried different cards. I was lucky that I could use my card to buy tickets for March 30th and 31st. Then I was helping a friend with tickets on 30th and we tried 4 different cards (credit and debit), even the card I had used the day before.

Wow, I just found out they charged my card TWICE for the same tickets (that I did not get because my card was 'declined').! Probably from the time I called Caesar's (at least I hope so, bc if it's from the site, they'll have charged the cards of several of my family members as well...).

I've never had any problems with the site before, but reading those reviews I can't believe Caesar's and TC do business with those people, wtf?????

Hopefully the bank'll be able to cancel the payments....But seriously, wtf??????

Celine stopped walking the aisle in late 2016 or early 2017 for security reasons.

That sucks...! I guess we got lucky and had the chance to greet her in the fan aisle back in Spring 2016. I see that she does backstage meet & greet. Is it that hard to meet her backstage? Or it’s jusf for famous people?

I’m glad that you are also one of her fans. But to not knowing her current setlist is something fishy for somebody who claimed to be a fans for 20 years. She doesnt even sing Immortality or How Do You Keep The Music Playing anymore and no aisle walking too for sure.

I have been a huge fan for 24 years, but there were quite a few years that I simply didn't have time to follow her every move in Vegas or be on this forum every single day. I had two children and had decided I needed to take a break from tracking Celine's every move to focus more on my family. Never did I stop following the major news and bought every new album release...listened to her music ALL the time. For a good while there however, I couldn't have told you every song or move she was making in Vegas either...because well...life happens.

I'm a long-time fan and I'm on this forum very often and I don't know the exact setlist. I know some changes were made but I don't really care if I'm up to speed with it (or if I don't remember lol).

We don't all have the same priorities. I'd rather follow the Céline & Pepe thread... :wub:

anyone going please try and record from the screens. The screens are so amazing and incase we don’t get a DVD (has been the case past 2 tours) this may be as close as we get to the real thing
