Is so hard to believe she truly has the flu? Emergency rooms(ERs) in the US are inundated with flu patients.

Is that an issue?

Plenty of press reported on it (though I think ET was the first to do so in English earlier today), and everything I've read so far has been all about how gracious Celine was in handling it.

 

Interesting how many are reporting about her cancelled show though! Seems odd... there's way more press about her having a virus than there was when she cancelled due to her back.

 

And honestly, I' surprised she doesn't get sick more often. I mean, 7-year-olds are little germ factories, and she (supposedly) shares a bed with two of them! :giggle:

I don't think I ever uploaded this but it was from the night I met her and her vocals weren't as strong as they normally are due to the 2016 tour, don't get me wrong she's amazing and I love her but you could tell she was tired, but she did a killer A5 note at the end!!!

The strange thing to me is that flu season is at its peak (or close to it), meanwhile Céline touches everyone's hands and then touches her lips and blows kisses... Maybe she should wear a mask or gloves during flu season. :giggle:

Eeek...I know...I'm a total germaphobe...it makes me crazy when I see her blow kisses after touching all those hands. Mask, gloves...giant dispenser of hand sanitizer backstage to use every time she changes her dress. lol

Oh, I'm sure Babs is feeling guilty and will probably go back to Vegas to apologize to Céline in person...

But she will need a few strong drinks first because she is sooooo nervous about going on stage to apologize!! :-D

My mother-in-law was watching our boys for us while we were in Vegas. She asked how the show was when we got back into town and I told her we got "quite" the pre-show and proceeded to share the YouTube video of Barbara with her. My mother-in-law was in TEARS - she was so impressed by Celine's class and grace. She was wiping away tears and saying "Wow, I can't believe people like that still exist...let alone a celebrity!". YEP - that's why we love her so! :wub: :wub: :wub: She's so much more than just a beautiful voice.

personally even tho it IS cringworthy & disgusting to watch, but im kinda glad that somebody recorded the video & that it went viral, cause even tho its embarrassing for celine & everybody else who was there that night, & im VERY SURE that drunk woman is REALLY embarrassed & ashamed by now... but this might be THE WAKEUP CALL this woman seriously needs to get her life together & get some help with her alcohol problem!! cause some times people with alcohol (& drug) addictions need to HIT ROCK BOTTOM in order to wake themselves up & seek help!!

 

And I guess you're entitled to say that this woman has alcohol issues because you saw her drunk ...once?

For all we know, she could be a completely nice person who rarely drinks and overdid it once... I’m surprised no one has found her on social media.

You mean you think Barbara was staged!? 1000% not - I was there...sitting directly behind her. Trust me, there was nothing arranged about any of this. This was something that security was dealing with well before the show started Friday night.

Yes, of course.... they haven't changed the show in 500 years and the numbers are dropping, so they need to invent situations like these to keep drawing the fans to the show! You're really a genius :wub:

I don't know how Perez Hilton has a website sometimes since he gets his stories so messed up. While on his site I read his blurb about the Vegas incident and he writes..."although security rushed the stage to take the crazy fan away, the diva told them they were friends..." PEREZ --- she was talking to the drunken lady about the security guards being her friends not the other way around. He is so oblivious sometimes
