Really wish she would slow down the number of shows she does. Significantly.

 

I hate how exhausted and tired her voice consistently sounds now and it's very obvious that it's due to a lack of vocal rest. I wish she had no more shows up until the billboards performance, but instead she sings all the way up til the tour damn near!!!! I get it she makes the choices and maybe she wants to stay busy, but she needs to think about her voice and I'm not talking about adding more playback. I'm talking about keeping it durable so she can slay vocally. Her voice can slay every bit as good now as it could then- the one thing that has changed is the consistency of a good day versus a bad one, feeling rested and ready for a high note or feeling raspier and more tired. The durability to do so many consistent shows while performing at a consistent vocal level has decreased. I wish she could not perform so much so when she did it sounds reminiscent of opening night 2015, or taking chances tour the opening leg (even before Europe honestly)...

Also don't forget working on the album.

Agree with you,but celine has always been a live performer. She said years ago how she hopes an album has a long life but as long as I can go on stage and see my audience I'm happy.

Saying that and all you said, how many on here kept saying "please add a show here" & "she should release the album soon" etc? Lots of people on here.

It would be so much better imo if one year she did say 50 shows in lv, then the following year record an album and plan a mini tour. Then the year after that release the album and do 50 shows wherever in the world. Then repeat the process after having a break of at 6 months. This way she could plan and apply vegas changes, and be creative via tour shows and in studio. She'd have more time at home etc doing this too and to rest her voice. Instead she tries to do it all.

Although I don't think cp would let her be there a year and then away for a few lol

Remember A New Day show? She performs every night for 5 years? 2003-2007.. I can't believe she did that. The repetition of songs every night.. Amazing! Edited by jpatdeleon09

Does someone know the updated list of songs she sings during the show recently? I haven't followed this lately and as I am going to her show on June 3rd, I would like to know. Thank you!

 

I miss the 2015 set list with All The Way and Over The Rainbow! I thought that the opening night set list was the best!!! But this set list is good, putting MHWGO in the middle actually is pretty cool because we end the show with TSMGO and it's super thrilling!! She's super energetic when she finishes the shows now!!!

I'm still mind blown that I saw Celine in concert BTW it was my first ever concert. And it's been almost 2 years since I saw her(how sad) to this day I'm still shocked I mean I was in the same room with her. Wish I could go see her again.

Shame on me! I just notice she had a black hair color on Met Gala when I read your comment here. I tried to figure why she looks so different there. It was actually her hair!!! Hahaha....

In the video you uploaded, the first clip of MHWGO. It sounds like one group of string players played a different arrangement while the others played the normal one. Specifically right after "the door, and you're here" and "go on and on". It's very subtle but I can definately hear a difference. Edited by brendanm999
