I see no wrong asking for an autograph in her show! After seeing a guy singing his own song in full and Céline's banter for 20 min, what harm does someone do asking for an autograph for a minute? :mellow: I would do the same if I had the chance :)

Ugh. The way she ends "Because You Loved Me" by making the audience finish the song is so incredibly cringe-worthy to me. I hate it when she does, and I hate it when other singers do it. God, I long for the days when she would just sing the dang song straight and in full...LIVE.

I heard from a friend who seen her in Vegas for the first time last night that it was amazing and as much as he loves to hear her talk, she did talk a bit too much.

 

I guess either since Aldo left she can do what she wants or Michael isn't doing his job with timings correctly lol.

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

But when a few big fans have commented on it over the past week maybe it is something that they need to monitor...

A bit of banter is great, but at the same time ppl pay to hear her singing voice not her "stand up" voice lol!!!

I'm with you 100%!! When I heard that people got annoyed my first response is that they're jealous but I can't speak for everyone!! People got mad at me for trying to get a selfie with her and I was like whatever!! People get mad and people do what people do and we just have to be happy and free!! However I had one incident happen where I was going to give her a rose and the security took it from me :-( and when she was talking before WDMHBN some fan ran up to the stage and gave her a frog and it was a little annoying how he acted but yet he loved her so I got it!!

I really don't get people complaining about her talking.

 

Of course, some may like it or not but it doesn't make any sense to say she's not good at it. Beside some stuff repeated from one show to another , nothing is scripted! And she handles it perfectly. Just listen to the audience's reaction , there are a lof of laughter.

 

"A new day" was completely scripted and humour-less and people were all asleep. And on this very board, people were complaining about that.

 

I'd rather have this than 2 more playback songs. ^_^

 

It's like the show has evolved to a semi one-woman-show/concert...

I think she is enjoying her talking on stage, and by the way she does it very very well. She is funny ( she could get a job as a stand up comedian), people laugh and everyone has a good time.

I think it's the difference between Vegas and tour. Vegas is more strict on time, and when songs have been removed in interest of time but time has stayed same because she talks, it looks contradictory.

 

On tour, her talking doesn't matter as much, it doesn't affect the time, and often times it can be more personal based on location.

Time matters at the o2 in London because of the last tube to get thousands of ppl home, but it should be fine for her July shows which are at the weekend when the tube is 24/7 on most lines.

 

I suppose as long as she's having fun that's all that matters really, but how lucky we're those ppl last night as the show was nearly cancelled at the last minute!
