They simply have no interest in selling more of a French album, not made for our market. I think they've already reached the goal.

Agreed! Maybe i'm just not close enough to other artists but I just don't see others being treated this way!!?? Film a music video? Release it 6 months later! Release an album? Ship no more! Your act appears on an important event? Release the video to VEVO weeks later once the hype has gone!

 

It's just mad. So much good things have happened with Celine's team recently - changes in Vegas, live streaming on Facebook etc - but she's still stuck with the same, apparently incapable, record company!

Not to mention the high differences in pricing of the album! The deluxe was for sale for 10 pounds in the UK, but it Holland the price was first 19 euros, then 21, then 32! That's no way to sell an album!

 

I get that they don't want to be left with too much stock, but if there's demand, retailers should be able to get it! In Ireland the LP is not on sale, cos Sony Ireland didn't order any copies! WTF!? The LP is produced in EUROPE and for sale in CANADA, but a European retailer can't even order it... no wonder the music industry is dying

In Greece, for the first time ever, there was no deluxe/vinyl version available and I bought the standard edition for 23 euros, two weeks after the original release date!

The album debuts at number 66 in the Greek album charts. I think she is like number 9 for the international releases.

Actually it is available since last Monday but not in every store across the country. Personally, I ordered it from Public's website.

OK. I see. Thanks for the info. I ordered mine (The coffret collector deluxe edition) from Amazon France. Just to be sure, because we are usually late in getting the international releases in Greece. It cost me 27 euros.

no surprise for the position because here in Greece " Feel good records " who represent Sony Music here they have made no promo and also a tragic distribution in the shops and very expensive ( standard edition about 20 - 24 euros ) , every fan that i know here in Greece ( including me ) they bought the delexu cd from Amazon.co.uk

Did you know that the second week, EUS doubled its "streaming sales" in France? 4 267 sales vs 2 129 sales during the first week. Thanks to that, she reached 90.000 sales (90 408 to be accurate) for its second week in France.

Don't forget it's SUMMER, one of the lowest-selling periods of the year. If they were amazing for higher sales, they would've released the album in Oct/Nov.
