Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Aretha's "greatness" seems to be only limited/magnified so much in the US... I don't think she's even as big and as influential as Celine, Whitney, or Madonna outside the US. Whereas these three, you can objectively say they are the true definition of a "global superstar"...
