I guess If there is any consultation, the first time they published the list in 2008 Barbra Streisand was absent from the list ; and now she’s on there but way down. So maybe when Celine is in her 70s and the asses update it again 15 years from now Celine will be included.

 

What I also think they should have considered is Celine’s influence in another language - something Mariah or Whitney don’t even have. Celine’s French language career is unprecedented in Europe. And if you’re making a list of the 200 greatest signers now how can such a contribution she’s made in two languages- globally - not be recognized? They are fools

Considering that Celine isn’t on the list and Aretha is listed as the greatest at number 1… maybe this person who wrote that list feels how Mariah did about the divas live . The omission of Celine from this list is what sparked and has kept the huge backlash on Rolling Stone going and I'm living for it.

 

She's still trending on Twitter.

 

There are greatest lists done all the time, fans arguing on one artists deserving higher etc, but this level of outrage in support of one person being off a list is crazy (condidering other greats were left out too). I love seeing the love Celine is getting over this.

Oh, gosh, that list is so wrong, but Celine Dion is now trending everywhere. Also, I am so happy seeing her TikTok account growing so fast. Also, I'm Alive video on YouTube seted a new personal record by making more that 400,000 views in a single day (on 31/12/2022). She is so loved and respected and that means more than any place on that list.
