It’s from TikTok. A short clip of Céline interrupting an interview by singing Cher’s song “Believe”. And they’re using this clip as a meme and an example of a person with ADHD.

_ There was 58 in Vegas and the next day Celine Dion was on stage in Caesar's Palace. The show's got to go on.

I didn't expect the mention of Celine Dion in Damian Szifron's thriller To Catch a Killer.

OMG I want to go!

Choir! Choir! Choir! is doing MHWGO at Massey Hall in Toronto on July 20th!

If you’re not familiar with C!C!C! it’s a giant pop-up choir. At every event you learn to sing one song in a basic choral arrangement and it’s so fun. They’re from Toronto but do touring shows, too. (I went to one here at Lincoln Center in New York and we sang with Kermit the 🐸!)

See some sample C!C!C! YT videos below.

Massey Hall is an iconic venue it Toronto so I can imagine this being pretty epic.

Superstore s5e19 has one of the character buying Celine Dion tickets and he says, "With Celine you can't have a seat too far....or too close to her" lol

Hello everyone:

How are you?

Sorry if I am writing in the wrong post.

 

I know that we are not happy about Sony music and Team Céline is lately not doing anything to promote her, not doing anything right celebrating the anniversaries of her albums, now TAST deserves a huge celebration.

Do you trust me?

Nobody is obliged to do what I am going to propose.

But I would like to express our discontent on all Sony music social networks.

The main message is to let them know that Céline deserves another record company that values, takes care of her projects and promotes her with a good team.

That it is time for changes in her discographic career.

I propose all this so get the atrention of Sony Music, Céline's manager, can take no-tice and draw the attention of other record companies that I am 100% sure would do everything possible to hire Céline. I know that Sony Music has the rights to her catalog, but everything is a matter of negotiation and nothing is impossible.

Well, this is my proposal. Maybe it sounds very daring but my interest, like yours, is for Céline to maintain her megastar status.

First, I’m shocked they’re remaking this movie… but I guess it has been nearly 20 years 😳

Second, I’m thrilled Céline is referenced in BOTH versions.

 

I’ll never forget seeing the first one in the theater spotting that A New Day… poster in her gay friend’s bedroom and whispering to my friends, “It’s Céline!!” That an “uncool” and “unsexy” singer made it into the background was one thing — that the poster was when she had the short, blond hair (therefore, unrecognizable to most viewers) made it a deep cut reference that made me feel SEEN lol

Now on Netflix U.S.: the 2022 series from Xavier Dolan, The Night Logan Woke up. I was waiting to see if there would be a Céline reference —and, sure enough, in Episode 3 one of the characters does a karaoke performance of « Regarde-moi ».

I really wish I knew who “Team Celine” actually is… the reason being, when they give a compliment like that you quoted, it would be nice to know who it’s coming from. Is it someone in the inter circle of Celine or someone from Sony music who was assigned to this job and given orders of what and when to post. :hmm:

 

It’s so trivial but something I’ve wondered for years now.

Feels like they waking up again.

Now the official word is out about the documentary, feels like there is time to post stuff on Instagram again.

 

Though it also feels a bit late to post that she is global ambassador for the month January like 2 days before February.
