To Celine herself? Sorry, but I've read 0 personal attacks here. And I'm sick of fans making remarks on other people's fandom, telling them what and what not to do/feel.

 

Preach! :popesmiley: Thanx :clapping1: Sometimes it feels as if this was politics, religion or else of the kind...that either you're blindly into the following or you're out and a hater. I love Céline and that's exactly why the production on this track baffles me ... it's absolutely subpar!

Some people on here are not objective though. They're either all "omg Celine can shat on my face and nothing would be wrong with that!" Or "omg, Celine and her team are making decisions of the devil!" The spectrum is that extreme. There are only a few of us who fall in the middle and actually have lives outside of all this noise lol

What bugs me the most is that they think it is a personal attack to criticise her artistry. :mellow: When I come here I take it for granded that we all love Celine...

 

And yes. I still believe the studio version of TSMGO is pretty bad. My hopes go to the live performance. :)

It's ok Luke, People need chill. The biggest fans are the biggest critics and that's the way it should be. And the reason is because we care about her career.

After this year and what she has been through, she deserves more for her fans that constant complaining and so many of you acting like two years olds who just were told they couldn't have ice cream for breakfast.

Negativity? I would say objectivity! All the comments 'it's growing on me', 'it's not so bad' or 'perfect is not best' by die-hard fans really show that the quality of this single is not worthy of Celine.

 

As a fan of one of the greatest voice ever, I don't expect average stuff. And this kinda came out of nowhere, because her voice recently is way much better than that. But ok, she's in a rough path, and it's fine. But the single is not good at all, in my opinion.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you on this. I enjoy Celine as a person and an artist but that doesnt mean I follow her blindly and applaud every thing she puts out.

There's a difference between criticism and just plain redness to Celine.

 

And the fact that those of you who makes those asinine critiques can't understand that point shows your ignorance to the point.

 

Disagree all you want. After the year Celine has had, I think this releasing of of TSMGO is a great surprise and I love the vulnerability in her vocals.

 

Also, as a point of reference, other artist have done quickly recorded and released tracks. Martina McBride (Over the Rainbow) and Kelly Clarkson (ballad version of Piece by Piece) both recorded quickly and released those songs to iTunes, and the production value is obviously less than a song made for an album because of the time frame in which it was produced.

 

None of you seemed to take that into consideration. It was just instant complaining. Get over yourselves.

I absolutely love the song, it's doing great with no promo, her voice is amazing.

 

Although it's not as strong and crystal as her live versions, I think it's a very good statement and rendition. It's different from the live versions which is ideal, I'd you want the same thing, then why not just listen to the live versions. Right? I think it's a very good move with Lindsey and the vocal rawness. It's more real, emotional, and something she always wanted to incorporate into her work and artisty. Certainly the note is intentional, this is the belting queen were talking about, and her Vegas shows prove she's more than capable. This lady belts out RDMH every night, one F#5 wouldn't be difficult for her.

The note could've been better edited though. Like the ending could've been drowned out or faded. Overall still a great song.

The fact that the recording was rushed is not something to be proud of. It is a negative trait. It explains the low production value but it doesn't excuse it.

 

And it surprises me to see you are so foul-mouthed and offensive (''asisine critiques'', ''acting like 2 year olds'', ''shows your ignorance'', ''get over yourselves'').

You are obviously a casual fan who pops in now and again when there is some hype (Billboard ICON award) surrounding Celine. We are true dedicated fans who are here even when there is NOTHING going on. Even when she was off for a year looking after Rene, we were here worrying about her , sending her wishes, keeping her as relevant as we could all over the internet while she was off.

So "Mr Casual Fan", don't you DARE be calling us names and stuff. And who told you that her vocals for SMGO was recorded after Rene's death. Shows how much you know.

Exactly, we are critisizing her production team's decisions, not Celine. Celine does a wonderful job every night in Vegas.

almost 300,000 views in less than a week, it seems that this song is having some result and continues to grow, I'm impressed thought she would not grow as much.

I'm vaguely remebering TSMGO from the ctedits, all I Know Is it sounded Cool and Was disappointed that it Was not included In the Live CD.
