powerofamor17 Posted May 25, 2016 at 09:22 PM Posted May 25, 2016 at 09:22 PM (edited) Is the year you state on your profile, '97, the year you became a fan? Either that or you're younger then my son. Lol, no I'm 19. And I had no reason to @ you on your negativity. If you had an issue with what you were saying, or if you felt like saying so would result in a response from me, why say it? Either you love to be petty or you crave my attention. Ronny83 Posted May 25, 2016 at 11:09 PM Posted May 25, 2016 at 11:09 PM TM Studios has issued its latest “A” HitDisc to radio professionals, shining the spotlight on singles from artists like Gwen Stefani, Dagny, SYMON, Celine Dion, Elton John, First Rush, Gyptian, YG and Migos. “Each week, TM Studios programmers, working directly with the record labels and utilizing MediaBase research, select the new releases most likely to be added by programmers,” says TM Studios of its compilation. This week’s disc includes First Rush’s “Politician,” Elton John’s “A Good Heart,” Katrina Woolverton’s “Better Now,” Celine Dion’s “The Show Must Go On (featuring Lindsey Stirling),” Gwen Stefani’s “Misery,” SYMON’s “Say,” Dagny’s “Backbeat,” the Diztortion Remix of Gyptian’s “All On Me (featuring Lady Leshurr),” a clean remix of Young Greatness’ “Moolah (featuring Lil Wayne and Yo Gotti),” A$AP Mob’s “Yamborghini High (featuring Juicy J),” YG’s “Why You Always Hatin’ (featuring Drake),” M-City Jr’s “Addicted To My Ex,” Migos’ “Say Sum,” and Wale’s “My PYT.” Many of the aforementioned songs will also appear on the weekly “Prime Cuts” Hit Disc, which features the top new releases from all major formats. http://headlineplanet.com/home/2016/05/24/gwen-stefani-dagny-symon-yg-gyptian-issued-to-radio-on-latest-hitdisc-compilation/ 3 Quote The Celine Dion Italian fanbase - CelineDionItalia.com

joaofilho Posted May 26, 2016 at 01:33 AM Posted May 26, 2016 at 01:33 AM The Show Must Go On on youtube walking for 1 million views in a few days, I'm surprised not think it was up as much in a few days. Quote
Moleque20 Posted May 26, 2016 at 07:17 AM Posted May 26, 2016 at 07:17 AM Well the song is (unfortunately) almost forgotten. And it can be reflected in the iTunes trends. Only in France and Canada it has a quiet good impact. Quote Les étoiles tombent une à une. Mes émois sont de saturne.
mirage Posted May 26, 2016 at 08:21 AM Posted May 26, 2016 at 08:21 AM (edited) If it's not possible to release the BBMA video, then release her a video from her own show. We all know they record everything so they easily release a video from it. Is there also a complete video (intro/song/speech) available for download here on the forum? Her last tv performances were available for download... waiting for her best performance ever now :-) Edited May 26, 2016 at 08:24 AM by mirage 2 Quote

smw Posted May 26, 2016 at 08:21 PM Posted May 26, 2016 at 08:21 PM (edited) Her team obviously doesn't want to push The Show Must Go On. It's clear they just wanted that to be a little treat for us fans. They're focusing on the new French single, which is fantastic, but it'd be really nice for her team to capitalize on the English speaking world's new interest in Celine again as a result of the Billboard performance. I kind of wish these songs were spaced out a bit more. We're getting SO much at once. However, I do hope Aldo decides to put the Billboard performance up on Vevo. It should already be there! More people need to see it and there are so many who want to re-watch it over and over again. That performance and her speech are so special. Edited May 26, 2016 at 08:42 PM by smw 4 Quote
max24 Posted May 26, 2016 at 10:05 PM Posted May 26, 2016 at 10:05 PM (edited) In Europe we have now Friday. Will “The Show Must Go On” enter the charts in Europe? Maybe Top 40 in France?Canada still has few hours of Thursday left, they can still buy/stream the song. However, in Canada streaming is important, so I don’t know if the single has a chance to debut on the Canadian Hot 100. yellowrose14 Posted May 27, 2016 at 02:58 PM Posted May 27, 2016 at 02:58 PM I'm glad anytime Celine releases something new, but I really want some new original English songs! ( I also wish she would sing some songs live that she doesn't like "I Want You to Need Me"). However, I think my opinion is colored by the fact that this isn't one of my favorite songs by Queen either. 1 Quote

Xpresso Posted May 28, 2016 at 02:33 PM Posted May 28, 2016 at 02:33 PM When Céline finally gets great reviews for one of her songs in the US, we end up getting: 1) a studio version that's nowhere near as good as the live version; 2) the single doesn't get sent to radios: 3) the amazing live performance doesn't get released on her Vevo account!!!What's wrong with this picture? Aldo and Sony are afraid of success in the US or what? 3 Quote

Aldo and Sony are afraid of success in the US or what? I think so. Maybe it was just promotion for the BBMA performance. I see it just as a "Where does Celine stand in the single charts" experiment... To gauge what they need to do for her legit English promotion. Hence the subpar production, the random release, no promotion, no performance release, no backing, no radio deals etc.. With these circumstances, I think TSMGO did a damn good job for a music veteran with no buzz. The song did fairly well for what it was given, which wasn't much and it's a cover. I think it was just to confirm that she's solidified to have and gain moderate success from just her "name" alone. Edited May 28, 2016 at 03:35 PM by powerofamor17 5 Quote

Aldo and Sony are afraid of success in the US or what? Feeling Productions doesn't own that live performance, Dick Clark Productions does. So even if they do release it, they still have to negotiate since it doesn't belong to them. As for the single, It's a pure marketing experiment. I also think it was an experiement by her marketing team to see if releasing singles sans album can work for her, and they did. They didn't invest much as this was definately an experiment, but when she is ready to record English songs, rest assured, I think the staggered single releases with increased promo before the album actually gets released will be in the future Also, if you look at the history of the last album release, I think they tried to do something similar by promoting different songs on the album on different talkshows, to highlight the diversity of the album, with LMBTL the centre of the campaign. the thing they failed to do that is needed now is to release the single early before the promotion. in this highly fragmented and on-demand marketplace, the single needs to be available before the promo starts, and it needs to get promoted and released months in advance of a new album in order for it to cause any traction. ewh12 Posted May 28, 2016 at 08:21 PM Posted May 28, 2016 at 08:21 PM I forgot to add, By having Lindsay Stirling on the release, they are guaging how viable she can be through the "viral" realm. This is along with the release of a IG Twitter and other social media accounts are preparing her for her first WW social media release of her next album. Quote
