I really hope it is on the album. Want an official cd version of this song and I'm hoping it's a bombastic,crank up the volume version too. The full vegas interpretation with amazing vocals - but not severely auto tuned. Still think they should get Brian May and Roger Taylor to play on the track. Could even have it as an extra track, bonus on deluxe version of the album. Don't mind. As long as it's on there!

 

Yeah so you already mean you'd wish the song to be re-recorded and not the current version-that's one different thing :laugh: . I don't like the current recording either.

 

I wouldn't mind if it was a bonus-track either. But certainly not as track #5 or #3 in the standard album. Not this rushed amateur recording :doh:

No I don't mean I want it rerecorded. But as it (if it's included) wouldn't be out until late next year it could be another version to the ones we have.

But as a massive Queen fan I would love for Celine to work with them 😊

I doubt Celine would re-record this song because that would invalidate this version! That said I can see it being in her next album. Hopefully as a bonus track!

 

What I wish for though is that it is left out and we get an album of original songs. :yes:

They should at least re-master it or make it sound more profession. They could also include her vocals on the Beethoven Version

Or just include the live Version from the Billboards

Exactly. Celine doesn't necessarily have to record it again for it to be a newer version.

 

As for devaluing the current version - is it really going to do that if the album is released a year and a half later?? Is the single version that memorable? For me, no its not. That great a version, I don't even own it.

Don't know, but Celine just got back to #39 on Mediabase AC and it was her peak poistion so far. With the upcoming US TV appearances, maybe it will go higher. She could even debut on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. More views by US fans on YouTube and other streaming services also would be nice :) Edited by max24

Thats what I'm saying also. If I saw her perform this on say, the Today show or the Billboards and then I got this!... I'd be like :wtf: it's defective.....

I don't understand the decision to release this one at all.

It's really not that bad.... I listen to it all the time and quite like it! To the average listener it will sound amazing...

Not sure about this. It recieved some pretty negative comments in my country. Not that it counts as a music market, I'm just saying...

'The Show Must Go On (radio edit)' will be sent to Italian radio stations tomorrow!!! ❤

I can't listen to the studio version...it hurts my ears.

 

I wished they had released the live version. Anyway, nice we're getting a new performance of this song!

Hey. I think the perfomance on Jimmy Fallon was good and I love the dress. Actually I'm surprised a bit that numerous fans disappprove of TSMGO studio version, but oh well... :unsure: :)

I don't hate TSMGO, but it is a Queen song to me ( and not my favorite of theirs). I feel the same about "All By Myself." That is an Eric Carmen song. i can remember when the original was released, so that probably is part of it. I don't think it is his best song either!!!

 

This is not an original opinion, but Celine has so many great songs from her albums that she doesn't sing. I think of all of those as Celine songs and I wish she would sing some of them. I feel like they would be just as iconic in the end for the fans as these covers if she did that. I know some of you feel the same. But, Celine will sing as she feels... I understand that.
