I agree, I hate auto-tune.

It's not a great song or vocals but sadly this isn't her worst song guys... Just go listen to " Let Your Heart Decide" or "There Comes A Time".

 

But that scream by Celine for bloody murder should've never happened. The auto tune makes no sense. But I'm not worried about her voice these vocals are clearly from a week period of 2008-2009.

 

I must say that I love both 'There comes a time' and 'Let your heart decide'! This version would be good enough without the screechy note at 2.42 to be on my iPhone playlist. As it is I have the Billboards version to play.

Céline isn't perfect like fans want to think but that's what makes her special. I may not like the one note but I won't slate her entire catalogue of songs to make it seem better than others.

The reason some people like certain songs (or even versions of a song) above others is that we have different options and feelings connected to each one.

Let your heart decide for example is a favourite of mine as it's the English version of the first French song I ever heard.

To a point I can agree with both sides...the note is awful but does it justify all these awful comments?... NO.

We will agree to Dissagree. You are getting a lotto carried away saying "awful comments". The fact is Celine's biggest fans are also her biggest critics, and that screech note in TSMGO is probably her worst note EVER on a recording.

I've just heard "the show must go on" on Radio one Lebanon.

It is one of the biggest radio stations in Lebanon.

 

Libnan adores Celine. And I adore Libnan...it will always be home. Ramadan Mubarak!

Yes that note is very bad but to slate other songs and say they're worse is very critical. I will agree to disagree. All these awful comments part was the entire thread not just you. We as fans should supportively critique not out and out slate the hell out of Céline!

I'm pumped to see Celine's new single "The Show Must Go On" impacting American radio, debuting at #45 on the Adult Contemporary chart! Celine is the queen of that chart, having 11 #1's, and Celine's spent the most weeks at #1 there of all artists ever, at 88 weeks!!!

 

Who else is happy this song is getting airplay??

 

Too funny that "The Show Must Go On" also debuted on Billboard's Pop digital songs chart at #45, right after the Billboard music awards, but the airplay is beginning weeks after, which is a good sign that the song might have a life on Adult Contemporary!!

"The Show Must Go On" is #41 on the Mediabase AC Chart in the US (its peak so far).

I so wish it was the live version!

860k views so far. Such a shame... I think the video would have reached this number within few days had it been released shortly after the BBAs.

"The Show Must Go On" peaked #39 on the Mediabase AC Chart in the US. Now it is at #42.

The video was watched 907,601 times. C'mon fans, make it 1 million! :)

 

I think it is reasonable to expect that Celine will be singing TSMGO this summer during the NBC concert series : https://www.celinedion.com/citi-concert-series-today/

 

In this case, the performance may have a positive impact on both the radio and the video.

I really hope it is on the album. Want an official cd version of this song and I'm hoping it's a bombastic,crank up the volume version too. The full vegas interpretation with amazing vocals - but not severely auto tuned. Still think they should get Brian May and Roger Taylor to play on the track. Could even have it as an extra track, bonus on deluxe version of the album. Don't mind. As long as it's on there!
