I was just watching 3boys and a new show. So much happiness in those years. She is a lovely funny warm person, a wonderful mother and they were such a happy family.

Rene played such a big role, Rene did so much for her, we can only thank him so much for doing that! Glad they had wonderful years of love with each other, got 3 children and took everything out of life until the very end.

I fail to see how anyone can find it "nice" that Celine's face is on magazine covers when it is in regards to the death of Rene. I'd much rather have there be zero magazines with her face on the front and Rene alive than the other way around.

Calm down, I'm sure NOBODY here wants Rene to be gone. I think this is just a fan looking for a grain of positivity through all the negativity and sadness that has passed the last 4 weeks.

 

In fact I would go as far to say for Celine to have her husband many of us would even prefer her retiring and never seeing her again, just knowing she's happy with Rene and her kids.

 

Unfortunately life doesn't work that way tho.

I was only hilighting the fact that this has made big news .... that the world actually cares.... It is a comfort for me as a fan that they think she is important enough to be on the front covers of magazines with this story....

 

Of course I wish this hadn't have happened!! Im very very surprised that you interpreted what I said the way you did.... Especially as you are a frequent member who sees my posts.... By now I'd have thought you would know how much I love celine and that I want the best for her....

I listen to it and the image of Céline and the family walking into the church comes into my mind, and at the same time, I picture a young Céline and René in the studio together working on the song.

I'm just now having time to really watch the funeral, I had a double shift the day of the actual funeral so it took me a while to watch it and I just have to say it's one that everyone will remember. Much like Jackie Kennedy during Kennedy's funeral Celine was nothing but elegance, much like RC speaking at his father's funeral it reminds me of William and Harry walking behind Princess Diana's casket. Seeing RC speak tore me up the most out of anything my step son and RC are the same age it was like watching a clone and I couldn't handle it as a parent you just don't see them grow up until it's something big and it makes you realize just how grown up I know for Celine it was painful and upsetting but at the same time I know she wanted to tell RC just how proud she was of him. Hearing L'amour exist encore made me cry as it was so haunting but a reminder that his love for Celine still exists and then there was the final goodbye kiss. It hurts to know she's alone now but at the same time she has a different reason to get up and put her best foot forward every morning for the boys, don't get me wrong I wish Rene was still with us because the man loved Celine but if and when she does return to music I think we are going to see Celine in the drivers seat calling more shots and doing things she wants to do. It's a new beginning something some fans might not like while others will, it's just going to be a new day.
