So Marc Dupre played Placed des Arts tonight, and apparently he performed “On s’est aimé à cause” with Stella, as well as “Entre deux mondes”, which of course Céline wrote for him.

Did you guys hear about René using “ladies of the night” lol recurrently while Celine knew all about it? Apparently he wasn’t playing just poker all night long lol

 

Which would explain that asian woman story… that woman that tried to claim that René molested her. René gave her 2 million dollars to keep her mouth shut. He didn't rape her, but apparently he gave her money just so he wouldn’t have to defend himself therefore acknowledge in court that he was using prostitutes. To protect Celine’s public image.

 

This is coming from her Official Biographer Elizabeth Reynaud who claims she meets Celine everytime that she comes to Paris.

And as for that allegation you refer to - the woman in question was convicted for extortion and was a known fraudster who had spent time in jail.

I didn't know this history and I have no doubts in my mind this woman was indeed extorting him. But one has to be really naive to believe in this little history Rene told in that interview.

 

When would a wealthy business man just follow a stranger to outside of his hotel, into a unknown location, just to meet an allegedly handicap person?

Yep the woman's story never made sense and I doubt she was exactly Rene's type. She was a professional fraudster and he let his guard down and got stuck in an awkward position. If this biographer now claiming this was actually close to Celine I doubt she would trying to leak sensationalist stories like this now.

She’s in such a lonely position. Always has been the case, given so few must understand what it’s like to be a star at that level, supporting so many people since she was a teen, but especially now, dealing with a rare disease and without Rene at her side. I hope she has a strong support system.

Unfortunately I don't think she has. That's why she worked so hard in 2016 because we were somehow her support group.

True, at least she has Linda, Alain and the kids. But yes facing this illness without Rene must be tough. Can't help but feel that his loss cannot have helped her health at all. Not to mention the strain on her whilst he was ill. Must have been incredibly traumatic for her.

Well, as far as we know it’s still Dave Platel & Denis Savage, although Denis (along with Celine) are the only two listed on the official CDA and Les Productions Feelings filings as directors.

Yes of course she didn't miss it. I imagine it would have weighed heavily on her, but she normally posts for family mile stones in the year which is what I was referring to as missing.
