Wow, I agree the sound is better on the radio broadcast than on the CTV broadcast. I suggest someone replace the mono sound from the CTV videos with the sound from the radio broadcast and sync it together properly.

From what I can tell, there's that auction for each concert, someone posted it quite a few pages back. (I think it's on evenko) and also I think if you're a big shot donor? Who knows though. That's the two things people have said.

I would kill him if he sat in front of me... no kidding! But I rather have people lipsync for their lives instead of singing louder than Celine.

If you want to scream or sing like your cat has been strangled, do that in your private bathroom not during a concert which I paid a lot of euros for !

 

Oh FFS - I could not care less how much you paid for your ticket, if I want to sing at the top of my lungs with my favourite artist, then it's tough titties for you. If you want studio perfection with no fan noise, sit at home in your bathroom and stick your headphones in.

 

Some people here are just unbelievable - let's crucify a man who obviously loves her as much as we do for singing too loud. I'm sure that in this same topic, posters have complained about how those in the floor seats spend too much time sitting.

this is why I loved what Michael Buble said during one of his concerts. It was sth like "Enjoy the concert as much as you can, sing, stand up, dance, clap as much as you want tp and don't care about the people who don't, just have fun because this concert has been organised just for that and I invite you to do that"

With the fear that the forum will be shutting down after this... I agree with you...! Some of her high notes in PP are good and serve a purpose but most of her improvisations in it, as well as in LCMM, RDMH and TLBSEPT are random and she strains too much for my liking. I am impressed by the amount of fans here who think what she does towards the end of TLBSEPT is amazing. All I hear is random ''yeah yeah'' and throaty notes.

Agree. Most of those high notes are 1) completely unnecessary and 2) totally chaotic and random. As if she was in competition with some ghostly singer next to her to see who screams more next time :wtf:They add nothing to her performance, don't do any good to the song and serve for any purpose IMO

 

I never liked Purple Rain, but with those neverending short screams, much less now. Sounds af she's strangling a cat

There is this thing in life called consideraton for others around you...some people get it. Some dont. It's a principal like common sense.

 

By your principal you probably find it okay for a parent to allow their crying baby to sit thru a 2 hour movie and disrupt other guests because they paid the same 10 bucks everyone else did.

I rarely sing at concerts because I am ashamed of my singing I can't hit a note even if you objectify it and give me a hammer!

I like so much reading people's opinions. Especially when they are bashing what I like. That's weird, I know. Because some have arguments (good or not, but at least they have some,not just like " I hate it") and make me wonder "Am I weird?" or " Why do I like it?".

 

Then I read another topic (or the same actually) and stumble on a post of the very same guy praising what I don't like. And I' m like " WTF! this guy make me doubt about what I like...to acclaim this sh***"

 

I guess we all have different tastes but ...I don't know... sometimes I find myself looking at the URL. I really think I'm on a board dedicated to "X-files".

Agreed! You can enjoy a concert without disrupting people around you and SCREAMING the lyrics... I came to hear Céline not my neighbour YELLING along to "Terre."
