Céline Dion: Summer Tour 2016 - Official Topic

oh wow, 2 pages of almost only negativity. Complaining about her clothes, really? I'm just extremely happy that Céline is on stage and singing, doing interviews, doing a lot of stuff for fans.

I like her new outfit. And it was her choice not to change outfits, maybe she feels good and like it. She said that she needs to have fun as well as her fans. So let her be.

Good Lord... the entire concept of this tour is a 90s throwback...! We have...

1.Celine working with JJG.

2.A huge setlist that includes rarely-performed songs (same thing she did during the A L'Olympia concerts and D'eux tour). AGREE

3.Putting on an old-fashioned, weird outfit and keeping it throughout the concert. That's the problem, but the old outfits looked so well (especially in 1995)

4.Even the intense red lights behind her remind me of the Le Blues Du Businessman & Quand On N'a Que L'amour performances during the D'eux tour. AGREE

PLEASE! Let the woman do the thing that made her the reign the 90s: Sing GREAT songs and not giving a F*** about her looks! D'ont Agree, she works with a stylist and sent him to New York, so she cares more than you could imagine...but it's a mess...

The catwoman outfit was dreadful. My blood freezes when I'm about to share a clip of this concert to a non-fan cause I know the bad commentary is on its way. Edited by LukeD

what happened during rdmh?

As you may know, she's singing RDMH with a microphone stand. And lately she started to push that stand forward at the very end of the song. This time the wire was all around the stand and it got stuck. She turned around, tried to go closer to the orchestra, but the mic was holding her. She needed some help from the guy who used to take the mic stand after she pulled it. It all took only about 10-15 seconds thought :)

If she doesn't really care about her outfit, why the hell did she ask to her stylist to go in New York to bring back this awful piece of bad taste !!! I mean after what the wonderful job Annie did during the last tours, she could easily keep only one beautiful piece for this mini tour... If it's not important to her, so why does she need the help of her sylist who made a bad job for live events... it's something that I can't understand.

After 223 posts about it, I think we got it : you don't understand. That's clear...

However it's quite simple to understand : she never mentioned she didn't care or was not important to her. Thing is ( and I think I'm 99,9 % right when I says that... ) : the woman likes what she wore.

What's complicated to get that we all have different tastes exactly? 100 % of people could not like the outfit, is it worth to make such a fuss out of it if she picked it among others and actually liked it?

Go out a bit and take some fresh air , you'll see it's good.

The queen is on stage but the drama is here. Funny :-)

The outfits are not bad by they way, but for meeting interview while sitting anything not important but for a performer infront of millions of people then u are not respecting those people

:sofunny: You probably think there are people who asked for a refund because of the outfits. :D

The thing is that the first two outfits looked ok. They were at least elegant and it looked like she felt very comfortable in them. And with this "curtain" in both white outfits it looks ridiculous, it's too much. Of course, the music is what counts but why on Earth can't she wear something normal? Especially when he chooses some amazing stuff for her when she is off stage on the street or doing interviews... I'm applauding her decision for not changing during the concert and I wish she kept the idea. But I think this white "thing" is just awful. And actually nobody complained that much about the first two costumes.

OMG the outfit AGAIN. Because some people dislike that outfit, doesnt mean that EVERYBODY dislike it... I was at the show yesterday (well ive been at every show since july 31) and you know what? The new outfit looks really great on stage!

Yeah, these are more "costumes" than outfits.

I'm sure they look really nice onstage.

In some ways, they remind me of old school Celine. Like The Colour of My Love era. So that's fun.

I would imagine that the new white outfit would look much better on stage then in pictures. I really don't care what she wears on this tour though. Celine blows it out of the park every other time to please everyone, but this time it's about what she wants and what makes her feel comfortable and happy.

We all know that Celine is going to go back to being her full on glamour girl in just a little while, so it's really not a big deal in my opinion. It's not like she looks like trash or anything. Atleast she's not out onstage with her goodies showing like some other singers these days.

This is a home tour. Celine is doing these shows to come home where she grew up and started it all. I think it's only fitting that she pull back the layers and show her true self, without all that glamour, because underneath it all, this is who Celine is.

I think it's great. Her recent show outfits remind me of some of her past tour outfit from the mid 90's. I don't think that is a coincidence either. I think that is Celine's way of paying respect to the past, to her fans and to Rene for all there past accomplishments and memories they shared together. :)

It looks good in this picture! Like it way better than her previous white one.

Think she should leave the blazer open, or later in the show take it off
