I'm so amazed by this woman. The year she's had and the strength she has shown us all.

 

The video below gives me chills. I feel Rene with her. I feel her strength. A true Icon. A legend.

The new live performances of songs from Encore un soir are so beautiful. I'm thrilled for the new music video premiere tomorrow and for the release of the entire album.

Tonight's' show highlights:

 

Brand new outfit

Ramona was seated at the edge of the front row center, right where railing ends

Celine went on and on talking about how her kids are spending time in Quebec, it was literally 20 minutes. She also made a few hilarious jokes before the Naziland medley

We stayed inside for a few minutes after the show, and surprise surprise, they played the studio version of A la plus haute branche, and it sounds amazing! Can't wait for the album!!!

I don't want to see her as a Diva, I don't care about that, and I care about her voice, how she sings and the musicians but we have to be honest, even if it's not priority...why does she need to work with a stylist and propose awful costumes for this tour... you can be chic and simple at the same time, this time, she is not chic and not simple with this awful outfit. The last black was really great, more chic and elegant, the white one is just a mark of bad taste from his stylist, really.

I was wowed by most of his paris designer outfits but on tour....wow mr. Law is there nothing more elegant to wear? What is this fascination with old fashioned curtains lately?, layer over layer over layer. You can follow him.on instagram and twitter. Maybe someone dares to say the truth about this weird choices on tour.

I am not a stylist but i can for sure see this does not look right at all.

I'm not sure if it's cause I watched the USF dvd tonight or what but I really miss Rene. So many times on this tour I could just imagine the look on his face. Like when the crowd is screaming endlessly when she first comes out. I can just imagine the pride he would have felt. Heck whether or not you believe in the after life I'm sure we can all agree that wherever he is he is prob still able to feel that pride when he watches her night after night. I dunno sorry I got all mushy there but I just had to share how I felt with all of you.

Bit gutted it's not a new outfit. Just a newer lace section. Was hoping for a whole new outfit. Maybe a new one for quebec shows??

I really don't understand why Law thinks that putting more clothes on Celine is fashionable. She's wearing Pants a dress over the pants, and a jacket on top of that? Her looks for this tour have been so off. They make me miss the FIY Memphis camel toe leather jumpsuit, which is even better than this nonsense.

Love the updated white outfit, but why on earth did she get back to that horrible hairstyle again!!!!! The one where she looked like in 2004 or during the billboards 2016 was just so amazing and now they changed it. OMG...

 

And film the concert for a DVD release for crying out loud!

I agree with you. I prefer her in white, not to mention I am more interested in what she sings than wears.

But wireless mic are more neat looking on stage unlike the wired one it makes the stage looks so messy. And it can be dangerous she might fall down because of the wire.

Celine has made it clear that these set of concerts are not about the fashion. It is focused more on the music and stripping things back to make it more simple and relatable. For this tour Celine want to relate and connect with the fans on a personal and emotional level. Celine wanted this 1 opportunity to make it not be about the couture dresses.

 

I think that for this tour Celine wanted to be more stripped back and not full on "Diva Celine."

Sometimes it's hard for me to understand, too!

I think she's saying that first of all she prefers the sound of the wired mic (if I'm correct she's using a Shure mic in most of her performances). She says that she started her career with this mic (the wired one) and it's the one she likes best..."there might be other mics that are [technically] better but if I'm not happy with a mic I can't perform well" (by the way that's a lose translation...not word-by-word).

 

She also likes to have a grip on the cord with the other hand (as I've seen in some cases, she holds the cord with the other hand). Finally, Julie says "Normally, super stars have wireless mics"...and Celine says "Well, I'm not a super star, I'm Celine" :)

I mean after what the wonderful job Annie did during the last tours, she could easily keep only one beautiful piece for this mini tour... If it's not important to her, so why does she need the help of her sylist who made a bad job for live events... it's something that I can't understand.

 

BRING BACK ANNIE, as quick as possible ! It's a disaster, and don't forget that he is going to change the vegas outfits...what a disaster at this point.

 

The mini tour is a masterpiece for the quality of voice and orchestra but.... till the begining it's a mess for the look, especially the hair...

 

If you let Céline does what she wants with somoene who knows nothing about live performances....it gives this result.

Good Lord... the entire concept of this tour is a 90s throwback...! We have...

 

1.Celine working with JJG.

 

2.A huge setlist that includes rarely-performed songs (same thing she did during the A L'Olympia concerts and D'eux tour).

 

3.Putting on an old-fashioned, weird outfit and keeping it throughout the concert.

 

4.Even the intense red lights behind her remind me of the Le Blues Du Businessman & Quand On N'a Que L'amour performances during the D'eux tour.

 

PLEASE! Let the woman do the thing that made her the reign the 90s: Sing GREAT songs and not giving a F*** about her looks! :yes:
