I haven't listened yet... but I wouldn't be surprised. God I just hope they filmed it for a DVD or even recorded the audio for a cd by now! I listened to TCWT: Le Spectacle yesterday and it's so stupid they recorded the Canada shows, she was vocally way better in Europe. I wouldn't be surprised if they are making the same mistake now, by recording one of the last shows where's she's worn out...

Well at this point I would be more than happy if we get anything, either proper audio recording of this great tour or a dvd from Montreal. Of course, just like with TCWT and USF they would be recording during a "weaker" part of the tour but really I wouldn't complain as long as we get anything. But yes, they haven't learnt that they should catch her when she is vocally at her peak and record it.

 

Although, I don't think those recordings from Sucre Sale are from the dvd... Rather for promotional reasons as these are all new songs from the new album. Something like we got the first few songs in Paris and the first night in Montreal... I hope I'm wrong though

 

 

Wait, what has just happened before the acoustic medley yesterday? The speech was 10 minutes long?! even though I know French, with Celine speaking Quebecois, I don't understand everything... Can anyone translate what she was saying for so long? It was not the regular speech. She also sang some song that Therese used to sing...

The fact that they're stopping every night in "Et je t'aime encore" after "c'est tout je crois, ah oui..." for half a minute to one minute now is annoying. We got it, Céline, we still love you, everyone loves you. But that breaks the flow of the song every night

It should have been recorded during the first 2 night and if they didn't want to as it was the first shows then by end of last week it should have been done.

You're not supposed to see it every night. You know... there are people who go to a Céline's concert once and they move on...actually that's the majority of people..

Actually none of her recent DVD releases is good. Her 2013 shows in Bercy were significantly better than USF. Her voice during the first leg of TCWT was in much better shape than in its second half. Vocally the CD/DVD releases did no justice to Celine, her voice sounded nasal and colourless. The worst mistake of course is still the 2004 live album from Vegas, if I could erase that from my memory, then I would.

 

I hope they are really careful this time because the last live CD/DVD I enjoyed was ACDS.

The only official concert that has done justice to her voice was the Olympia concert in 1994 (Live à Paris in 1996 was very close too) and they kept it in their vaults...

We see it every night, but 99% of the people there are seeing it for the first time. It's like the speeches, they're always the same, because it's a different audience.

It should have been recorded the night she had the facebook gig. She was wearing the Christian Siriano black dress, which I still like the most of all tour outfits, and her voice was great and the energy in the venue that night was amazing. Paris was estastic..

I have a feeling there will not be a dvd, but if there is one, it will be not her best vocals I am afraid.

 

Talking about dvd recordings - please please please don';t erase audience sounds, don't make everything sound like a studio recording because that does not justice to how we heard it live. I have to say my all time best Celine dvd is Au Coeur Du Stade. Loved that setlist. And Celine was vocally in top shape.
