Having had more time to reflect on the show since last night.. Gosh. It is such a beautiful love letter to René. I've never dived that much into the meaning of all her French lyrics, but understanding better now what all those songs represent to her.. gosh it's heart breaking.

 

To start on THV is like saying she'll be following him no matter what and where he's gone.. then EUS, and JTE encapsulate how much she misses him and almost forgets he isn't there... PQTME, IACBTMN, TLS and QPVSA are almost the frustrated side of that missing, demanding for more.

 

JCT, BYLM, Terre, Immensité, TPL seem to describe the love itself... the history of how it grew and became this immutable force.

 

Then with LVDA, LAEE, DUAM is like the chance for them to meet again somehow.. (Then there's a whole chunk of songs I don't fully understand the presence of, but hey, they sound great.)

 

Finally it ends on a beautiful note of acceptance, hope and strength... that LCMM, and TSMGO, that her HWGO (well placed, for the first time...), one last tinge of regret in SSDA and finally a goodbye in Vole.

 

Anyway I'm think I'm overreaching with some of the interpretations. But regardless, it's well crafted, and so deep in meaning and personal relevance I don't know how she makes it through every night.

Talking about stage outfits, I always liked Céline in white. I think she looked great in the first part of Falling Into You Tour. It was simple and classy in the same time. The last white outfit from this tour reminds me of it except it really looks weird if you watch it from the back. It looks like she is wearing some oldfashion skirt which is not enough long. I'm glad she is wearing again the black one from Paris. It's very elegant.

There seats that are showing empty at the very back were directly behind the sound booth. It'seems possible they weren't even up for sale.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention on my review of Monday night show. The show was great and like i said the voice was perfect, but if i had to change anything, it would be to have a centered stage instead of in the back. When you're far from her, you're reeeally far from her (and my seat weren't that bad compared to a lot of others). I felt like she was present for people on the floor and on each sides of her and the rest was just background. You kinda feel left out a bit. If its centered like i experienced with LTAL Tour she's really with everyone.

She is on FIRE tonight, the crowd is crazy but I don't know if you notice it seems that she pushed a little bit harder her voice at the end the show and you can notice that she has some troubles to control it... REST your voice lady please. But what a night !!!! INSANE

Man I'm wiped out from that show. Awesome!! Just wish the floor section stood up a bit more and I wasn't all alone in the middle of it..!! And also that her inCREDIBLE vocals in purple rain weren't drowned out by the guitar.

I'm starting to understand why she keeps LCMM/RDMH.

It's the only thing that uniformly, every night, gets everyone - even up in the peanut gallery - up on their feet and dancing. Lots of energy all around, so I get why she wants to keep it. And now that she basically improvises most of it, I don't mind so much. If she were singing it straight it would be tougher to stomach.

 

Also, loving the little increasingly jazzy elements sh's been slipping into the acoustic medley, especially Apprend moi and Tous les secrets. Good sign.

 

In other news, saw some guy in the concessions line wearing the Vetements Titanic Coming Soon sweatshirt! ( Wonder if it was real...aren't they supposedly sold out, and $800 a pop?)

Bell Centre shows mostly sold out, with a few tickets available for 3 or 4 shows.

With these shows, Celine sold 238k tickets in Quebec, which is insane considering that total number of tickets sold for French-language shows in 2014 (last time they collected data), was 617k. Basically Celine is keeping the live French music industry afloat...kind of like she revived the Vegas economy, you know. All in a day's work.

It's really something when you realize how much she carries on her tiny shoulders.

I was at the show tonight and I think Power of Love might have been live because at the end, her backup singers went wild and kept bowing down to her and looking at each other shaking their heads in disbelief. It was really interesting to see!

According to evenko not a single concert was sold out entirely. I have been checking a lot even a few minutes before each concert and they had always tickets for sale.

I think they were sold out. They added new tickets to sell this summer.

I would kill him if he sat in front of me... no kidding! But I rather have people lipsync for their lives instead of singing louder than Celine.

If you want to scream or sing like your cat has been strangled, do that in your private bathroom not during a concert which I paid a lot of euros for !

In the round would have been crazy insane I think. Not to mention I'd have been a lot closer to Celine as I was towards the back of the Bell Centre, lower bowl. I was very pleased with my seats and felt the energy rom the audience. I can somewhat see that the people way up at the back may have felt a bit detached due to being so far.

I noticed that in a live feed video on FB. I loved how she smiled after messing them up.

That's why when I was singing along at the shows I wasn't actually singing. People paid way too much to be listening to me instead of Celine. Now when she asks the audience to sing with her, that's different as it's just a moment in the song and not the entire thing.

It is not important what you or I think actually. Just check official website which is selling the tickets. There have been tickets available for every concert in Montreal. So far there are NO tickets only for the first and the last concert in Quebec.
