This is magic! I have never felt dumber in my life, I remember bashing the song, calling it boring and even thinking the competition was not fair! :wacko:

Tonight was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Céline was in the black outfit from Paris which I prefer to the white... She did NOT perform "Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour" unfortunately... but everything else was 100% perfect. It was a dream to see her in Montreal, front row, singing this incredible songs.

 

"Ordinaire" was BRILLIANT tonight. She seems extremely comfortable with the song now.

 

I'll post more tomorrow but I'm still in total awe....

 

I have the entire audio which I will work on tomorrow morning, and hopefully upload.

 

Can't wait to see the show again tomorrow!!!

It's alright, we all bashed it and said it was rigged or something. I remembered not even bothering listening after 30 seconds because everything sounded so boring, so what do I know haha.

I swear someone from her team is on here and sees that most of us, well a fair amount didn't like the white outfit and her hair from the first 2 nights. She looks so much more in control and poised in this black outfit to me for me reason!

people really liked that, and her voice is so haunting...it was one of the best moment.

Judging by that Snapchat, they had pretty crappy seats!

 

I'll say it again - Celine is completely superhuman. She does that entire show with 2 sips of water and not a bead of sweat (and all that while doing some pretty impressive high kicks during Terre - has she been practicing karate and not telling us?) Meanwhile, rest of band is all sweaty and Andre-Philippe Gagnon is totally soaked after his 25 min set. How does she do it?!

 

She sounded and looked fabulous tonight. Much better than the hairspray-fest style from Mon!

i can say that for me, it was Et je t'aime encore that we prefered...yes my husband who's not a big fan like me cried a bit during that song, and when she pushed her voice in the second part of the song, it was really incredible. I don't know because i haven't seen the first shows, but her voice was great , and more that that. The show must go on was so incredible, she did one little flat note and immediately put her hand to her ear, that was the only one i noticed in the show. People sang during most of Pour que tu m'aimes encore and she seemed to love that.

 

I don't like the english part that much, but people really liked it, so i totally understand why she keeps it there. Really strong reaction by the general public. Everyone standing and singing. I even sang during the power of love. :innocent: LCMM mountain had great moments, some adlibs with her voice, and RDMH is a voice practise, i found it great because it was interesting.

 

Ordinaire was great , the musicians are perfect, my husband was really impressed by that. I'll write some more later if i think of something. For the moment , my throat and vocal chords are tired... :giggle:

THANK YOU, CelineFanForeverNY, for the full audio and videos from Monday's show! I was there, in section 102, and got a few pieces of songs on video and the full audio recording starting just before Tout les blues, so to have the full audio is WONDERFUL! Thank you!

 

I have been trying to figure out how to describe my feelings about the show since Monday night. I can be wordy sometimes, but I think short and sweet does it best in this regard: I have seen Celine ten times before Monday night, but this was the first time in Montreal, and it was a completely different experience. A 20-year-old dream come true, 100%. She was the little girl from Charlemagne....so relaxed, so chatty, and she looked ten years younger than she did the last time I saw her in Vegas in February (which is understandable, but I'm still so happy to see that). The show was everything I hoped it would be and more. After 20 years, I am more in love with her today than ever before and I didn't think that was possible. MERCI, CELINE!

^@LooneyLinz very much the same here!! Been waiting 20 years to come to Montreal to see her and I just love the energy. I do miss being able to sit up close with her at the Colosseum for the same price point.. but regardless it's so nice to see her relaxed, thoroughly enjoying herself.. especially loved all the crazy riffing she did on RDMH. And Les Vol D'Un Ange!!! Omg a dream come true for me. Oh and the new song, A la plus haute branche.. God I love it to bits.

 

My only problem was that I didn't spend nearly enough of those 20 years properly preparing for tonight.. in that my French is still God awful. Can anyone give a a gist of what she was talking about..? I roughly got the gist of a story about the twins discovering Montreal.. and another about how her family lined up serviettes on clothespeg to serve as curtains for her stage..??

 

One more time tomorrow!! Let me go practice my lyrics.

Don't know where to post it, let it be here. I'm working hard on the subtitles for the press conference right now. The first 30 minutes are already available for watching. But firstly, a little disclaimer: I don't speak any French. Even English is not my native language actually :-) There's one person who helps me immensly, I also use YouTube's auto-subtitles. So my subtitles may have [a lot of] mistakes or might be not very accurate. I would be extremely grateful if someone French-speaking corrected some of them and suggested any improvements. The rest subtitles will be available later, I hope to do it ASAP

I'm quoting myself now, this is what I wrote last Tuesday about her great look of the 1st August concert:

 

So combine all together this tour setlist, the dress she had the 9th July in Paris, and THIS hair, and that's a DVD I would by without hesitation :wub:

 

She's got the right hair, the right songs, now let's hope she gets a hot outfit like the one she wore the last night in Paris :P :in_love:

 

I'm officially scared. I was wishing for the dress of the last night in Paris to come back. Sometimes I DO think there's someone reading this forum :whee: . That or just my Céline wishes seem to come true one after the other lately :wub: :whee: :in_love:

The first songs ot the opening show were streamed on radios in Quebec, the SOUND WAS GORGEOUS and her voice so clear (nothing compared with the officials records that we had...), nobody recorded it ??? Please, it was on Rouge FM and Rythme FM.

 

I listened to the live stream on Rouge FM through my Sonos Speakers and OOOOMMMMGGGG!!!! the audio was so clear and her voice was incredible. I have not heard anything like this recently on the pro recordings and streams we have had.

 

Wish I could listen to it again and be able to keep it! If anyone knows of where to find it, please share :) I thought Rouge FM or Rythme FM would have had a link on their page but couldn't find anything on their website!!

It goes to show that she can bring a boring demo to life with the right arrangements, emotions and vocals.

I wonder if it was in the show the first night because Jean-Pierre was at the premiere?

but the benefit of the forum download is that the Videos are in full HD with amazing sound
