Shamrock_1982 Posted February 12, 2016 at 10:14 PM Posted February 12, 2016 at 10:14 PM (edited) I know it's like a signature for most older musical legends to perform 3/4 certain songs in a row for TV Specials, or concerts for example Paul Mc Cartney is now known for performing a certain uptempo medley and that's fair enough as he's much older, and does not do as many shows or appearances as C but I don't want her getting stuck or known for the same type of medley ie, lcmm/rdmh... Don't get me wrong, they are great, but they have been performed in the same way since, A new day..., the world tour and for the last few years in Vegas. I think with a new manager, conductor and a chance to now try new things, do it, and if they don't work do what, try something else... Don't get comfortable and stuck in routine for too long, change is good, and the best is still yet to come... She has so many songs to showcase of her own... Be proud of them and show them off to not just the die hard fans but others who want to come and see her! What do they say to taking chances?!? I love that idea for TSMGO, I don't usually like a cover song for a opening, but I think with the circumstances it's perfect to open with, the lyrics are perfect for this time in Celine's life and I think a intro of the orchestra playing TSMGO would be The set list I made, of course I think it's great, I may have chosen some even more RARE songs, but I tried to make one that would be realistic and possible. 1

I tried to make a set list that most fans and casual people would like when going to Vegas and "seeing a show" .I just really don't understand why her team can't do a set list like that one. I kept it realistic because EVERY song I chose has been performed by Celine live at some point in her career. And I kept it realistic by still containing many cover songs just not as much as before. I feel like most people are tired of RDMH. I think her gems of TTWII,IA, and ANDHC need to have their moment and be full songs. I think I surrender deserves to be the f encore before MHWGO people know the song well even people who aren't fans and it shows her vocal ability. think LTAL is a perfect pace song with a great message to close her show with. I'm sure many of us would LOVE to have other songs in the set,that are really rare or never performed before, but I tried to make one that is possible for her team to consider. I'm sure nobody will look it at, but if someone from the team reads this forum and takes at least some of it into consideration which is a long long shot lol it's worth a shot. 2

It's kind of an anthem for Celine and Rene's career together. I really, really, really love the idea of show must go on as the opening and flashbacks of Rene and Celine through the years, kinda like the opening video for the TC tour when it first started in South Africa and showed her music videos through the years and performances and stuff like that. Have a shadow of Celine in the video let it build up then it's Celine behind the white drop curtain and you just see her shadow, it takes a moment break and it drops and she begins the song. However at the same time I'd be happy with it opening up with My Heart Will Go On.

I just want the show up tempo I love Kiss but never was a fan of Purple Rain I think the covers would go over better if they were uptempo but that's just me. I've never liked the first time ever I saw your face didn't like it when Roberta did it. All By Myself needs to be retired it just takes forever to get through I love Love Can Move Mountains and in my opinion this version from Vegas has been the best in a long time.
