That F5-G5 climax she does in “Alone” always reminds me of the almost identical run she does in “You’re the Voice”. It’s basically the same.

The beginning run that Celine does for this song are just insane. How many people can do that live at 7 in the morning....wow.

 

It's crazy that her highest live chest belt (not mixed) came during one of her bad vocal years.

Well, he came in several TV shows in France to surprise Céline (always the same surprise, though !) and at the beginning she would go "Ho thank you Hugo, my mom loves you, Hugo" etc. and that was funny because no one dared to correct her.

I was about to share this link here! This video is beyond amazing... I love Adam Neely and the way he explains music theory. He had talked briefly about All By Myself years ago, but I'm glad he made a full video about it.

It's amazing to see how everybody's work on the song has contributed to make it so significant and iconic... That's why I miss so much David Foster producing for Celine.

Exactly... Singing is a very complex task. You need to express emotions, but if you feel those emotions they can affect your voice and ruin your technic at the moment...

Yes, it has a lot of new takes from Celine, even herself as part of the movie in one scene.

Some takes of the same lyrics are alternate from the official version (as in the official she sings a part at day, and here it's night). This version has Celine appearing a lot more.

Particularly I preffer this version.

I actually think the regular version is better. In the last chorus of the director's cut, the clips doesn't match the pacing of the song. I do however love the extra clips of Celine in the director's cut.

 

They should just cut out all the clips from the movie and make a "new" music video with only clips of Celine and finally upload it to YouTube without having to pay anyone for the movie rights.
