This video has now 4M views and everyone from this video has gone to Ashes and thats why the views of Ashes has increased so rapidly. Thanks to this video! Everyone commented that they came here because of the video where they saw that Ashes meant a lot to Ryan and Celine for a comeback.

I just hope they could have done something like that with Courage too. The album would get a great boost especially the title track.

Someone could email them or request them with the idea of making a video on how Celine found Courage with this album after the loss of her husband

I really love this little Making Of The Album video for A New Day Has Come, but her hair was doing her no favors during this comeback (like in the interview segments of this video). She went from chic and cool in 1999 to looking ten years older by 2002. I really loved her hair a bit later, like in the Goodbye's (The Saddest Word) and I Drove All Night Music music videos. But then she chopped it off shortly thereafter.

I've been able to get onboard with pretty much every Celine hairdo, but I really struggle with the one in this video and (after chopping it off) once the blonde hair grew out to grandmother length (as was represented in the unreleased A New Day... DVD). She had a brief moment of good hair in 2002 / 2003 before chopping it all off. And then it was better again by the time she was promoting Miracle in 2004, and she looked so much more youthful again. Particularly on Oprah in 2004... she looked so refreshed, stylish, and effortlessly chic.

 

I usually don't get on a Celine hair kick, but I do get to thinking about Celine's hair whenever I see the 2002 comeback hair. It always bugs me... mostly because she went out with a big bang in 1999 with the trendy and fabulous That's The Way It Is music video, where she was sporting Jennifer Aniston hair... then she comes back just a couple years later with some very dated styling that made her music seem out of date as well... image-wise.

I would need a studio instrumental to work with, and she’s only done it live so i don’t really think it would do any good. i always work with her studio instrumentals, since they have the power her live performances lack for some reason.

Interesting that this version was released only on the album sampler... To me the little differences on the production and instrumentals make it better than the final release.

I think this production was released also on the 5.1 version of the All The Way SACD, but it's the shortned 4'07 edit.

 

 

And I love the extra vocals on this one...

Yes, she was at her peak in the ATW era (career and beautywise).

And I love her look in the IDAN video and the OH photoshoot (it's modern and fresh).

Her ANDHC era hair was indeed oldfashion and boring.

I didn’t mind it so much when she first cut it for AND. I LOVED her hair in the OH video, and the HYEBIL video, and when she was on Jay Leno in 2003. Other than that, the short blonde hair did absolutely nothing for me.
