Not sure if this is new or not, but I think it's the first time I've heard it. And the quality is great! Imagine if they released these concerts!

What a gem.

Her voice was just impeccable on the Celine Dion album.

So fluid and technically perfect. Like at 3:37 in the clip below. If you didn't already have a hunch that this Celine Dion woman was about to conquer the world of music, then you certainly did after listening to this...

 

 

For me, her voice was better on the Celine Dion album than on The Colour of My Love album.

Mostly because Celine had a lot more attitude-style singing on TCOML album.

Made me think of Celine! Even though I know the Bridget Jones movie used a different version of the song, this was great. Very COVID

Who is currently managing Celine Dion's career? A bunch of amateurs? It's sad but it seems to be the reality...

The music video from IACMTMN was duplicated on Youtube, so they deleted the one that had more than 110M views and remastered the video with 40M???

What are they doing???

So hear me out,

Team Céline thought that there are two videos with over same length, so they decided to delete the one with the maximum views! That is not their fault😜

They removed the video with 117 million views and remastered the one with 9 million. Wtf?

Did a quick search as I thought there must've been a reason for this.

 

Some on here may be more knowledgeable on the subject, so do correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Apparently, artists have very limited control over their Vevo-channels. They have to put in a request for anything as simple as changing a banner or a thumbnail. So I imagine it was a hassle to get them to upload the HD version. Maybe they tried at first and it took to long, who knows.

 

Now as I understand it, artists used to make more money on Vevo uploads than uploads on their own channel. But due to some recent changes, that might no longer be the case.

So with that argument out of the way, they may have opted to regain control over their content.

You know I really like this version , I could see her singing this in the CWT

 

I love Celine's vocals, but I do think she really over-sang here from what Annie wanted. It seems like Annie didn't give much instructions on what she wanted Celine to do, so Celine just riffed. But they didn't use a lot of her belts. Celine sang too high to fit the final product.

Sam Smith just released a live album. She sang FTLTIL:

 

 

PS: What a shame that Sam's version now has way more views than Celine's on YouTube.

Yes, there was one the TCWT DVD video of TPOL on YouTube and it had many millions of views. Then, one day, it got deleted for no apparent reason. They only re-uploaded it a couple years later along with other videos from the DVD but it had lost the views.
