Why does Julie Snyder look and act like she is totally crazy here? Was that the direction of her show back then? Pretty ridiculous IMO. But maybe it was the norm at that time

Do you guys have the full English version of I Believe In You? It was once out there

 

I've never heard the full version except the one that was secretly recorded by a guest who attended the special.

Unfortunatelly I think this english snippet was played only in this interview... 'Cause the performance showed was the french version:

Thanks for sharing that Delilah interview!

I didn't realize Delilah was such a big fan of Celine.

But it makes sense -- because she would always play Celine songs during her show.

 

Reminds of me of the good days... when Celine was so loved on Oprah, Larry King, Jay Leno, Rosie O'Donnell's etc.

Because I made that recording and indeed with an old flipphone haha.

 

It got lost along the way, back in that day it wasn't easy to upload and save things like that.

But I remember being at that show and try to record it.

Security was strict on the no phone policy.

Aww I love this. I remember the first time I heard MHWGO and fell in love with Celine was listening to Delilah one summer night back in 1997.

Thanks for sharing that Delilah interview!

I didn't realize Delilah was such a big fan of Celine.

But it makes sense -- because she would always play Celine songs during her show.

 

Reminds of me of the good days... when Celine was so loved on Oprah, Larry King, Jay Leno, Rosie O'Donnell's etc.

This is probably my favorite performance they did of Beauty and the Beast. But I also love Celine's composure and determination she showed in the interview, talking about how she wants to achieve her dreams. Work ethic!

I wonder how many other radio interviews are out there that we don't have. I don't remember anyone ever mentioning this interview on the forum. I love hearing experienced radio people interview Celine....they are more normal and have great questions. Not like these TV show hosts

She’s been on LiteFM for years, and when 96.1 in Connecticut was Love 96.1, she was there...she was also on STAR 99.9 (WEZN, not sure if that’s still the same in Connecticut also). And then she was on WALK 97.5 on Long Island too.

Oprah was incredibly grateful that Celine went out of her way to appear on the show during that difficult time in Oprah’s life.
