Who ever gave credit to Celine for inventing the waterfall? Oh wait, NOBODY did.

When one says Adele is copying Celine, that's definitely what it implies. Otherwise there’s no point saying it.

 

It is nice that you explain to us what needs no explanation (...that the waterfall symolizes the rain) but again who cares why Adele (or her team) chose to use the waterfall? It is still the trademark of Celine's current show and it is a cheap move to copy it this way.

If that's a copy, then so many things are lol. Water has been used since forever in shows. Adele's waterfall has nothing special. A copy would have been if the waterfall was as elaborated as Celine's, and even then it would be ok to do it (not a cheap move). It's not even like people are considering Adele's waterfall as the highlight of the show. And people comparing it to Celine's waterfall are mostly Celine fans...

 

And this is coming from the person who has called out Celine on mimicing the sound of Adele in certain songs of LMBTL. So I am objective and not a hater.

You probably have not been following this thread, but it’s always been this way. This is thread in Celine’s forum, and it’s Youtube videos about Celine. I actually don’t care as I’m not a moderator, but I find it amusing to have two videos about Adele in a row here, knowing how you and some others here really dislike Adele.

 

I don't judge people in regards to how they treat Celine. That would be pathetic and show lack of judgement. I have my own criterion. It is true Adele has done nothing against Celine but I am still not fond of her.

I ellaborated before and explained that I do NOT judge people in regards to my feelings about Celine so don't come back saying ''Being a Celine fan doesn't mean you have to be a Adele hater''. I cleared this up already and tried to be as specific as possible.

 

Saying Adele copied Celine does not mean Celine created the waterfall. As I said it is the trademark of her show. To put it in other words, someone out of Celine's team had the idea to incorporate a waterfall to the show and someone out of Adele's team used the same idea. Adele agreed to this, so she can be judged. This is what happens with artists. When Ariana Grande wears same outfits as Mariah Carey people rightfully call her out on it and not her stylist. We're talking about adults making choices. I know very well that pop singers tend to copy trends and even other singers but this does not give anyone immunity to criticism. Celine has been unoriginal at times, this doesn't mean I won't be annoyed when someone obviously copies Celine.

 

Stop deluding yourself with articles praising the voice of Adele. These are all for publicity. Adele is a basic singer. Fact (and I mean FACT) is that she has a bit more than 1 good octave in her voice, she can't really go low, she can't belt high, she doesn't use head voice but falsetto, she is lowering songs as easy as RITD to get away with them, she hasn't shown any diversity. Also the people you mentioned praised her VOICE not her TECHNIQUE. She does have a pretty voice but the voice does not make the singer. If you want to talk about SINGING and being a VOCALIST talk to me about the technique and musicianship she has showcased, don't even come back telling me that Adele emotes and connects with people because these are irrelevant to judging the singing skills of someone.

 

The video I posted featuring Adele was more about Celine since I made the connection with her. And many people agreed. So it is not irrelevant to the forum. Nobody would be talking more than a couple posts about it or Adele if it wasn't for you.

There were just about 20 videos about celebrities praising Whitney Houston and another 20 about Mariah Carey.

 

To have people praising a singer proves the impact of the singer and the popularity too. It has nothing to do with singing skills. (range, power, agility, breath control, placement, musicianship, diversity and so on).

Adele is better than her.

 

I mentioned that Adele is lowering EASY songs like RITD. Celine is lowering certain parts of songs but in the same concerts she belts MUCH higher. For example she lowers the notes of MHWGO but she is still reaching higher notes during LCMM and RDMH. Adele not so much. Huge difference.

 

The person who posted the waterfall link here (I posted it in another thread) did so because of the blatant resemblence to the trademark of Celine's show.

 

I do the math. There were more than 20 videos praising each singer which is more than what Adele has. Also these vocalists could sing circles around Adele.

One of the worst recent moments of her career. And her rendition seemed like such an afterthought. I doubt it was her choice, Aldo probably told her to do it. I never even looked at the comments because the very idea of having to educate all those idiots makes me cringe. Adele's voice is basic as hell compared to someone like Celine. So many of her teenage fans have never even heard Celine in her prime and base their opinion of Celine off of that performance or recent performances in general.

Adele is basic. Alicia Keys is below average. You are still dodging my question and you fail to provide any facts. And you still think that praising her VOICE has anything to do with her SINGING. You're deluded and you have comprehension issues too since I have tried to explain over and over in my previous posts that a pretty voice does not make the singer. In fact it takes tons of other skills one has to possess. Who ever talked with facts and real arguments about these skills? Which expert praised her technique?

 

The videos I talked about showcased different people praising these singers. Not the same. I love how you say it was same people WHEN YOU HAVEN'T EVEN WATCHED THE VIDEOS! Talk about being biased and irrational.

 

For the 4th of 5th time. Praising the VOICE does not mean Adele is a great SINGER. It means she is popular (Fact), that her voice is conventionally pretty (Fact) and that she has had a great impact in the music industry (Fact).
