"because the titanic of my desires hits the iceberg of your body" :sofunny: :sofunny:

I really wish she would have done more acting.

The lyrics "the iceberg of your body" perfectly describe what was going on in the sitcom,Môman was always ready for sex,but Pôpa hated it,was always too tired or had a headache that never got away... :hmm:

I think Celine would be an excellent actress. Not making movies is the only goal she hasn't achieved yet.

Just uploaded this performance of LCMM from a bootleg a few years ago that someone kindly shared. I love how she sings this song here. She went for the higher note around 54 seconds in. LOVE IT. Also like how she sings the chorus properly after the bridge instead. lol

Celine's team just uploaded some new audio videos to her YouTube and Vevo accounts. The following three were recently released to the United States:

"Tell Him" (Duet With Barbra Streisand)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJNd1k7bluU

-----

"Thank You"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yomf00wtKxw

-----

"If That's What It Takes"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIBf7lv-FnM

-----

Other recent audio videos uploaded to her YouTube and Vevo channels, but not available to the United States (yet) include:

  • "There Comes A Time"
  • "River Deep, Mountain High"
  • "Beauty And The Beast" (Duet With Peabo Bryson)
  • "Overjoyed" (Duet With Stevie Wonder)
  • "My Love"

That's pathetic, isn't it? BATB is not available?!

And I thought it was ridiculous the kind of workarounds I had to go through to see the Sans Attendre EPK here in the US. Like, Electronic Press Kit! This is supposed to be marketing collateral. It's even listed on Hulu (a US-only platform!) but then takes you to a geo-blocked link which (presumably?) only works in France?

I just don't get it. What could the conceivably gain by geo-blocking this stuff?!

Speak of the devil! The audio video for "Beauty And The Beast" has JUST been released to the United States:

This was super refreshing to hear! I stopped listening to this song on her bootlegs because I hate the way she sings it, but there are some definitely good moments on this performance.

VEVO still needs to upload more Celine songs. They are doing a lousy job in my opinion. Celine was by far the most viewed singer of her generation last year.

They just posted J'irai Ou Tu Iras, which is visible to those in the US. Odd indeed...

"Qui peut vivre sans amour?" is my absolute favorite from "Sans attendre." No doubt about that!

What I find completely puzzling, confusing and aggravating is how the music video for "Qui peut..." is available to watch in the U.S. on YouTube and Vevo, yet the official music videos for "Parler a mon pere" and "Le miracle" are not. Heck, the previews of "Parler a mon pere" are available on Celine's other YouTube channel, CelineDionTV! The audio and lyric videos for "Parler a mon pere," the fan video of "Le miracle" and as "scielle" mentioned, the EPK for the "Sans attendre" album are not available to view/listen in the U.S. either. I'm not sure who is running her YouTube and Vevo pages, but they need to be made aware of these contradictory issues, as well as the ridiculousness of her English material not viewable/listenable in The States, too!

Good video

Like the photo and the shooting

But the song is soooooo 80s. Sounds like a leftover from Johnny Halliday. He recorded many songs like this one yeeeears ago.

It was good as a live version with the chords. Really dramatic and powerful.enjoyed it at the Paris concert.

But weak single. Was not played on the radio. Totally outdated. There were more current sounding tracks on the album like L'enfant et la mer (sure it would have had kuddos from the French intelligentsia as it was written by Grand Corps Malade) or the duet with Johnny Halliday (sounded more recent actually than his halliday-type track lol). Plus did not offer a new side of Celine (love and again love). Les petits pieds de lea would have been a daring choice. It might have failed but at least it would have original. Her Sony team is very conservative since 2000s. In 90s the French singles were better (Le Ballet was a single!)

But still, nice video ;)

totally loved the song, esspecially live. Loved this video too! I is indeed quite strange that some videos are not viewable in the states! Maybe send aldo a message?

I agree the single was weak. But I strongly believe that ''La Mer Et L'enfant'' and ''Les Petits Pieds De Lea'' would be even weaker. These are all amazing songs giving life to the album, but they are not to be released commercially as singles because they are not radio friendly.

In my opinion, their best choice was to release ''Si Je N'ai Rien De Toi''. It does not sound dated, it has a hook and most people consider it an album highlight. For Quebec, ''Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amour'' could be a very good choice too. I think both songs are typical Celine ballads and had great potential.

Yeah I love SJNRDT! And that final note is amazing 😀was really surprised it wasn't part of the mini tour.

"Les petits pieds de Léa" peaked at #80 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and this song wasn't even a single. I think if that song would have been released as a single it would have peaked higher (it would have made the top40 for sure). Edited by GoldenLeaf
