You're not alone in this ;) Me too. Just as the Acadian driftwood duet.

 

Apparently I'm one of the few fans of Right Next To The Right One :giggle:. I've always liked its interesting and unique acoustic sound... So different for Celine.

Wow I never knew she performed this song infront of an audience ever ! Ill never never know why this song wasnt a hit !!! B) B) :wacko:

 

I absolutely love just walk away, was one of my favourites from the colour of my love... it was lipsynced in that performance though :down:

 

anyone know if there is a performance of send me a lover?

Oh wow, I had no idea Celine did a version of Acadian Driftwood! This makes me really happy. Though having just listened to it, it's far from my favourite version.

 

Still, really surprised Celine tackled this since it's such a politically charged song. Would never expect her to take this on. But good for her!

New dawn is a million times better than right next to the right one. Worst song of her career

 

While I will concede "Right Next To The Right One" is boring and forgettable, I don't think it's the "worst song of her career." That title easily goes to the insipid and horrific English adaptation of "Ziggy." Any song an adult sings which contains the childish line, "I'm so hot for him," goes right to the top of the "Worst Songs" list for me.

I wish she would stop asking the audience in Vegas to sing BYLM because it will never match this in its heyday. Now when she asks for it it's just sad :mellow: Interesting thoughts about Rene passing at this time. I think it is fairly universal for couples to wish the other spouse move on. I hope she can move on with time. I have to laugh at Julie asking her about guys hitting on her, like she's going to say, 'Yes, of course! All the time!" No matter how open her book is she wasn't going to open that chapter. :laugh:

Well,I just started translating "Un An avec Céline in Amsterdam and Brussels".Twenty special requests are waiting for translation and some of these requests are long videos. What I can do is to add this video to the list and it will be translated in a couple of months.

She mainly talks about her desire to have a solid career in France after her first performance there at the MIDEM with D'amour ou D'amitié. AND there's a very interesting part when she mentions her projects: she had time to practice certain sports and she was taking piano lessons in order to create her own songs.

 

I wonder what happened... :hmm:
