no lullaby no holidays, something POP and modern, but something very Celine's, like Rene always wanted for her till TC

 

She still has the voice

I say, if she's no longer chasing a hit, let her experiment with whatever sound she wants. No matter what she does, not everyone is going to be pleased. And that is totally fine.

At this point what's urgent is that she does just *something*, release some new music, and take some direction in her English career. Her English career looks lost or directionless since ages ago. It's inconceivable she can stay in Vegas doing 1,000 shows one cloned after the other, mini tours without any new music to present, and only 2 English albums in 10 years.

 

Inconceivable and a waste of time, for such a talented artist with the best voice. Her obsession with staying in Vegas and doing hundreds of shows that don't represent nor add anything new or chagenlling to her career is mind-boggling to me. Yeah it's like an obsession to perform and being stuck with it now

 

How on Earth doesn't she realise that she's wearing out her voice all these years in Vegas but that won't go anywhere? Her legacy is and always will be on the music she puts out for the world to listen. Doing 1,000 or 5,000 shows during her career that besides, don't offer anything new nor any landmark in her performing career, that won't go anywhere sorry. But releasing interesting projects in the form of new albums, that will stay forever.

 

So if she wants to sing on Vegas or anywhere on a stage forever, I'm totally okay with that, if that's what pleases her (which I highly doubt now), but for God's sake, release new music to perform and keep your career current (as long as you have the voice), not resting on hits you had 15/20 years ago like she's doing in all these Vegas shows and tours.

From what I could gather it sounds like he's been approached by Celine. And it would be for his next album. So it would be French in assuming lol

I think this is actually super exciting!

 

I'd love to see her do more interesting collaborations like this; appearing on other people's alums, doing something completely different. It's a great way to test the waters and expose her to a different audience without alienating her usual (and perhaps less musically omnivorous) audience base.

She needs to come back with some akin to A New Day Has Come.

 

The message is perfect for this time in her life, the vocals and melody of that song were simply the most refreshing she'd ever recorded - just so beautifu - and it was completely not what the majority of people were expecting.

 

Just PLEASE - not another Loved Me Back To Life album. In retrospect, that album disappointed me - half of the material was incredible, the other half ranged from average to atrocious.
