I bought it on iTunes and it was so bad I deleted it. So autotuned, her voice is awful (I know of the problems and illness she’s had) but dear God. Just because it’s number 1 does NOT mean it’s good. But what a duet does do is really serve to highlight her place as an elderstateswoman of music - a true legend, with today's young acts fawning over the opportunity to collaborate with her. A duet with Adele would simply be a dream come true for fans of adult contemporary music. And as for duets, I'd be all for - they bring in whole other audiences if selected well. (Just look what entire duets albums did for Tony Bennett's career, for instance.) But not when she releases one English album every 5 years. If she did this more frequently, by all means, do an entire duets album one year. But if we are to wait another 5 years for the next one...
