I'm surprised that so many don't like the Courage World Tour. And I do wonder how many of them have seen it live or just watched it YouTube. I've seen it 6 times live. I've been a fan of hers for 29 years and I think this is the best tour she's ever done.

 

The energy she brings on this tour is amazing . When I saw the tour in Quebec city with my friends they were just expecting her to come out sing her songs and that be it. They didn't expect the fire she had within her and they loved every moment. Now would I have gotten rid of some songs to replace them with songs from the album, 100% but I can't control it so I just decided to enjoy what was given to us. I've seen Céline 12 times in concert and this show had 6 songs ( not counting the cover songs) I had never seen performed live. Seven if you count the accoustic version of PQTME.

 

That said it doesn't mean I agree with every decision that is made on her career. I just think when you compare to wat we got in 2016 & 2017 is where the disappointment sets in.

I agree. Javito should be allowed to post again. He didn’t do anything wrong or against the forum rules. He voiced his opinion like all of us do, and he was not as vulgar and abusive in language towards others like some other members who still post here.

Some of them break the rules by cussing at members of the forum directly, and should be reported. That's what I have done and encourage others to do the same so the moderators see we are serious about having respectful disagreements.

The songs I heard live for the first time were A Vous, Regarde-Moi, Ziggy, Lying Down, Courage, Flying On My Own. She had not performed these in Quebec before and I'm alive was brought back after a long absence. It may have been in English shows but hadn't been part of a French show in a while.

I don't think it's fair to judge Celine's gifts to fans by her Quebec shows. That's her home crowd. And in general, yes her French fans have always gotten better treats and setlists.

 

In the case of the Courage World Tour, she happened to carry the French songs over to the Ottawa show. But I still think it's hard to defend her CWT choices based on that, especially since she later cut Lying Down, right?

 

Ziggy was performed in 2016 and 2013. Regarde-Moi was in 2013. A Vous was performed in 2017. I understand you got the best deal, but yeah all these stats are just things to think about when debating setlist.

So we get this long novel once again from someone who got banned for attacking members and calling them stupid for not agreeing with him. You think he would have learned a lesson.
