I don’t know if it’s just a style for that song but her vocals in that song were so different compared to the other songs from Courage album.

 

Compare this song to “best of all”. Both have soft intro. You’ll hear the difference (vocal quality). muffled vs clear

Courage was one of SOny's best-selling albums last year, so because Sony no longer publishes, put Celine on some musical TV shows, I'm sure the album's sales will increase. I dont understand.

no she does this weird thing of almost singing it with her jaw closed. So yes, low quality vocal as in - not her best take.

If i was her producer she had to sing certain lines all over. The english pronunciation could have been much clearer.

The Apple Music video seems a little random.

It's fabulous and I'm very thankful for it -- but I'm trying to figure out what the strategy is here? (If any.)

I know we can go on and on about her team's lack of strategy... But I'm genuinely curious if there's going to be another push for album sales?

 

We know the following facts:

-She recorded PMLALS and Humberto claimed it's coming on Valentine's Day

-There's a vinyl edition of the album coming on Valentine's Day

-She filmed a music video for Lying Down

 

I kind of assume that Celine is happy the album hit #1 and she's not really concerned about longevity of sales / keeping the album on the charts. Her brain's never been wired to care about such things. She is very proud of Courage. I'm sure she wants her fans to love it just as she loves it. And if other people discover the album, fabulous! If not, she doesn't lose any sleep. The tour is her priority -- and she's doing an amazing job!

 

I just want to know if there is, in fact, another round of promo coming since we know there's other material in the can?

Let’s not forget that they keep asking fans what their favorite songs from “Courage” are. In her latest Instagram post the fans had to choose 2. Maybe they’re trying to decide on 2 other new songs to include in the tour setlist (she did say she would sing 3 or 4 songs), maybe beginning in Europe.

I don't think they would put a low quality vocal song on a celine dion album, if she recorded it like that it's because that's how it was meant to be recorded, is just that you don't like it. Doesn't mean is bad.

 

(Except for the TSMGO studio version... glad it's not included on any album)

If I didn't know that it is an official release, I would seriously think that it was reconstructed by a fan who took her live vocals (or even vocals from a sound check) and put them together and now pretends that it's a new Celine Dion song. That's how bad it sounds. What were they thinking? A proper live version would have been much better!

I'm pretty sure they took the voice from a live performance in Vegas, a bad one indeed, added autotune and voilá

maybe she wanted it this way , yes, but let ‘s face it , it is not a matter of taste; the pronounciation is just bad and singing the line a couple of times again would have given a much better result. That is not a low quality vocal but just not the best take - you can hear that, anyone can hear that.

i’d rather see her stand for her music and evolve as an artist instead of singing only a couple of songs even when you have so much brandnew stuff to show. I became a fan because of her incredible singing, not because of her perfumes, her handbags, or being an actress; if she likes to act then make a incredible musicvideo! there are no boundaries for her to do that! If she likes to dance, then show that on stage!
