Many (if not most!) things you see on Netflix (of TV, or cinema, for that matter) are Canadian co-productions, given the production incentives that have been in place in Canada for decades (though many other jurisdictions are now putting in place similar programs). Every producer wants access to free $, plus Canada has a huge production industry and know-how, with Canadian cities often standing in for American (and even European) ones. She's doing very well considering. If she had even one live event she'd have a week of 30K easily i'm sure of it. Hopefully she jets across the pond in the new year. Worth her while. Regardless so nice to see Courage will have certifications in Canada, UK and France all before 2020 Canada will Platinum, France Gold and UK Silver all by next week. It seems to me that she and her label put more energy into promoting an already successful christmas song (during christmas, can't get any easier) to get her another number one than promoting her new material which did much worse than Courage (which isn't doing bad at all imo). Celine should do more promo but her peers are not doing that much more or better than her. 2 Quote
