She must have some promo this week. It's her last week to get some in other than week of December 15.

 

Her next show is December 1. Otherwise she only had two other Montreal shows which she easily could of done this week.

I find it funny that the songs I like the least (I love them all in their own way) are the songs I wake up to in my head...

 

There hasnt been a single day since I heard the album that one song hasnt been stuck in my head! Its a magnificent album.

 

My frustration is there is no promo to enjoy the album more as with past albums....

Same thing has happened to me. Falling in Love Again is not my favourite but I have woken up with the medley in my head.

And in case anyone was wondering SHïT makes the song better LOL... I’ll never listen to the “clean” version because that would be me agreeing that there’s a “Explicit” version based on that word

Yes she does. I wasn’t a fan of “Lovers Never Die” and she got me now on that one, tho still not my favorite of the album, I enjoy it!

I still haven't shared my review, but many on here have already worded my thoughts more eloquently than I ever could.

Suffice it to say that to me, this is easily the best English record Céline has ever made.

It took me a couple of listens, but this is an album with no skips for me, I still can't believe it.

 

Just one more thing I want to add:

The Chase doesn't seem to be getting much love on here?

I love Perfect Goodbye. I do not at all have a problem with the S word. The whole idea of God supposedly having a plan...well, she didn't write the song so I ain't mad at her for it. I love love love this album. Even my least favorite songs off the album are in my head on rotate. I am not crazy about Lovers Never Die, but even that I like, just don't love. I know Baby is a popular song on here and as I don't wanna get another argument going, I will simply say it's not my favorite but it is okay. I love Falling In Love Again, I Will Be Stronger, How Did You get Here, The Chase, The Hard Way. Boundaries is okay, not clear what the heck the songwriter is talking about/going for, but that's okay. Amazing album, I just love it!

Not a huge fan of Look At Us Now or Best Of All, but they're still good. I love Heart of Glass. I agree, there are NO skips on this album for me.

I think they're going for the long term promo.

She will do some more in december (christmas boost is always good for Celine), plus do some more in Europe when she get here next year.

Sony/TC/VMA have done things wonderfully so far with this, so I trust them. For Once!

 

Too bad the UK promo had to be cancelled. I always thought they should have rescheduled the Montreal shows to 2020. She chose quick money from touring (now or in february, the money would come in at some point) over promo. Of course, I don't know their deal/contracts and she might have been 'forced' to do so.

In addition, it was maybe too disheartening / shameful not to have Montréal on the beginning of a Quebec starting tour after Quebec City. Montréal deserved to see her at the 'almost' same time as Quebec City.

 

Besides, are we that sure that more promo would have radically change the game?

Production wise it gives me a lot of 90ies UK pop/rock wibes. Which is a setting I think her voice works really well in - worked really well last time she stepped into that region too with RIFOY with the The Corrs sound (Ireland).

What did I just read? "She chose quick money over promo?" That doesn't make sense. She would have made her money anyway.

She probably didn't want to let down her hometown fans and there might have been some scheduling problem.

I'm sorry, but while I love it, The Chase is NOT a country song. Neither is some of Shania's songs, I do agree with that part LOL but Celine simply does NOT belong on country radio. ould love love LOVE to see The Hard Way go to an R&b radio station, though.

I’m thrilled with the two music videos we have & the appearances on Fallon & WWHL. We finally have another #1 album here in the US!

 

I just want this album shoved in people’s faces as much as possible. It’s too easy these days for people to move on —leaving this beautiful music in the dust. People have to be constantly reminded to listen / buy / stream.

I have a feeling it's not a new music video for a new song but a commercial for something using IACBTMN in it with shots inspired from the original video. Just a hunch though.

Well, as we've said all along, the mansion had IACBTMN vibes , but what leads you to believe the post you refer to isn't mere conjecture / wishful thinking, based on Celine's post earlier this week?

What we do know for sure is said mansion was used for interview day.

That said, the lighting guy who posted about it did say "By Far 1 Of My Biggest Projects To Be A Part Of !!", which I doubt he'd say if it were just interviews!

I would think how to maintain the album in the public's eye, at least for 3 weeks+, not only for the first week.

With the musical videos, it seems they ran on a very low budget.

 

Ok, I can it, she is veteran they feels like investing in the hot names

out there that most of them are pure crap, but today, they can use the social media in a very cheap and smart

way and they just doesn't do it. Pity.

The album has grown on me. I like it. To me it is very similar to Taking Chances. Not so much to A New Day Has Come.

But also with Taking Chances there were a few songs that I really loved: Fade Away, Alone, The Reason I Go On

I liked the "rock-feeling" Taking Chances had.
