This is very strange all I can say is ticketmaster is sure doing a terrible job in these email confirmations. I can't even get them to reply back despite them saying they would in 24 hrs well it's past 24 hrs still waiting...

 

As much as I can’t stand ticket master I think this is an AEG issue . They didn’t send out vip packed until after show . I was really hoping to have the laynard before the show . Now the cd is taking forever too

My thoughts on the album after a couple of listens and time to process it.

 

This is definitely the most coherent album she’s ever done in English. Although it’s a mixed bag of styles and genres, the general theme is the same throughout. Every song on the standard track list either speaks of lost love and pulling yourself back together after it or the possibility of finding love again (which I really hope is a signal that she’s now open to this). It’s as if she’s written the songs herself for where she is in her life right now. Honestly, I don’t think they could’ve done a better job in choosing these songs.

 

Totally different subject matter for a Celine album than we’re used to as there’s not one song that talks about all consuming love with the standard cheesy mushy lyrics but this is probably because she herself, bless her, doesn’t have that anymore 😢. There are one or two of these among the deluxe tracks, and although they’re good enough songs in their own right to have made the standard album, is probably the reason why they didn’t make the standard cut.

 

Before this album’s release, I hoped she would bring her new ‘Dionaissance’ through in her music and I think with the freshness of the sound here she’s definitely done that.

 

I think Rene would be so proud of her, I certainly am as a fan.

I just came across that photo on instagram,love her style so much but just wanted to show u the difference between real hair and a wig like the one Celine's wearing I mean it’s so obvious and I can’t understand how her hair dresser convinced her that it’s not showing,she always wore wigs since 2007 but never was that unprofessional,second of all the style has to change its getting boring

I really really love this album and I don't feel like skipping songs. I just miss finding a couple of earworms that a I need to play over and over again (like ANDHC, TC, or TTWII). By the way, Soul is a song I don't feel like listening twice. So glad it's not part of the global release.

Well I have been. Well it's on and off from both parts...

 

 

Now you made me listen to Say Yes (I've for some reason made my own EP with five tracks on repeat, so haven't heard the entire album yet).

 

I must say that I now may havr encountered the albums first real filler. Not very well crafted. But I looooove the obscure "loungy" production (reminds me a bit of the dreaming feel Skies of LA gives me). Hope there's much more production on the album that is similar to this! 👍

Loving the album so far as many have echoed. I think for many of you that prefer classic Celine you just need to give yourself more time for the songs to grow on you. I was not a fan of Courage at first but it has become one of my favorites. I really hope she rides this wave of popularity and releases Baby, Boundaries or The Hard Way as her next singles. They're gems and I really hope they don't get overlooked.

That's so disappointing, but not surprising. Artists like Celine, Madonna, and Mariah just haven't been able to become popular with the streaming audience. I don't think they ever will get big streaming numbers.

Of course it makes all the difference. Just imagine a generic tweet from Celine's social media accounts signed "- Team Celine" as opposed to a tweet without it (meaning Celine herself said it). Of course we want it more when it's actually Celine who said it, versus when one of her staff just writes something on her behalf. The same way with Sia's tweets.
