Well, since it seems my thread intended to aggregate reviews has been in new thread purgatory for the better part of a week now, I've given up on it ever getting opened and will just post here. If you find others, can you respond to this thread so we can at least try to keep it all in one place?

 

There are quite a few major outlets that haven't published anything, which I find somewhat surprising, seeing as no matter where you stand on Celine, it's one of the most anticipated albums of the year.

Visiting Spain for the weekend and while driving this evening the played Imperfections on Cadena 100, quite big station here. They did a brief introduction on how pretty Celine looked in the red suit leaving the hotel the other day, ready for Christmas. I think it is the first time I heard Celine on the radio with new music since Taking Chances. Right after they played Sam Smith and they also mentioned he wrote a song for Celine's new album. It was really cool :wub:

1 or 2 appearances with her new material could be fanastic, they could pre-recorded some stuff for promoting her music.

 

I guess most of the promotion will stay the pre-recorded interviews that still didn't come out.

 

It seems that the promotion got bit messed up since she has during the week of promotion

the rescheduled shows in Canada, who knows if they have more cards as for promotion.

 

As for the #1 in the UK

 

Westlife had MANY #1's in the UK so it's not surprising.

This band seems to be extremely popular over there until these days, so it's no wonder

their comback album will have lots of echo and sells.

 

Anyway, the amount of promotion can't always promise impressive results

as already seen with her last 2 English albums. Please get out of this bubble.

Only an album "out of this world" will lead her easly to this #1 spot.

 

Celine will have #1 at her homeland she will be extremely happy only with that.

 

Honestly, having her album in #Top10 in serval countries while knowing how the labels are insanely promoting all the other "big" names nowadays, it's something to be apperciated. Imo she is more popular, loved and respected than ever before. We only can be proud of her and understanding that it's not obvious how good the album does on charts already.

A very popular French rapper has released his new album this weekend...so I’m afraid Céline will miss the top spot. But we might get surprised as she has sold an amazing amount of concert tickets in a short time over there...so we’ll see 😉

But I do! I am so happy for her success! :clap: So happy people seem so interested in this album, and liking it.

 

Fingers crossed...

 

Celine will be #1 in the United States.

Celine will be #1 worldwide.

It will feel so good for her to be back on top in the US.

I think if everybody who has iTunes buy the album it will be great for sales online. Of course if it’s possible. I bought my copy on iTunes last Friday. It’s good to have it on my iPhone.

Funny how some critics critisize Celine for remaining safe while others say that she should stuck to what she's best at, the power ballads!

I couldn't really find her anywhere on Spotify of notice but she was added to New Music Friday Sweden's list. Lovers Never Die. So nice to see her on a list with current artists. :) Fingers crossed some none fans will take a liking to it.

 

Glad to see Celine featured on Spotify's main page!!

She still #2 on iTunes Indonesia, westlife still stand strong, I don't know if the radio play their music, neither Celine. and her regular version is nowhere to be found on the top 200, but The Essential collection climb up to #7 from around #60 few days ago LOL Edited by gafsa

Anyone have a guess based on the information we have of which of the 20 songs was the last one to get recorded for the album... considering in April she asked LP to write a song for her, I would think that maybe “Change My Mind”. I also think that “Falling In Love Again” might have been a late addition too. Edited by Nmj

It's such a shame they didn't make one this time. I love those digital booklets. Now I'm gonna have to scan it.

 

How many albums have had an official digital booklet by the way? I assume it started with Taking Chances?

For some reason the fold out poster that's included in the deluxe edition gives me very Loved Me Back To Life vibes instead of Courage vibes.

I was thinking about the LP thing! I was wondering if she had the song or was alluding to the fact that LP was on the album. I definitely think she had a bunch recorded but wanted to freshen it up, to say.

I reaaaaaly hope she does the Grammy’s this year. The Hard Way could be spectacular! I know it’s a very high song but they could lower the chorus to make it manageable. I just think she would shock a lot of people, in a good way! She’s definitely still got it!
