"Courage" album - Official Topic

Anyone have a guess based on the information we have of which of the 20 songs was the last one to get recorded for the album... considering in April she asked LP to write a song for her, I would think that maybe “Change My Mind”. I also think that “Falling In Love Again” might have been a late addition too.

 

I was just looking earlier at each songs individual credits and noticed Change My Mind said recorded Montreal rather than Las Vegas as most do (vocals obviously) so I’m fairly sure this was a late edition, probably only recorded during her time in Montreal over the summer, is my guess.

OK, but all these articles are based on the same single Hits Daily Double estimate from yesterday, and while they're generally a reliable trade, let's not count chickens before they're hatched.

 

And yeah, streaming action is definitely underwhelming. Let's hope Sony's strategy of spreading out the promo gives it all some longevity beyond the album bundle physical sales.

OK well then I can definitely say they have sent out many confirmation emails for those who have shows up to February but no word if anyone with shows from March till April has received any. Still nothing for me I have sent out two emails to ticketmaster with no response at all ugh. My parents are going to the US today so I might just get them to buy it there cause I can't even find it here!

 

My show is on March 7th at Prudential. Received e-mail confirmation the album was shipped on November 13th. Still waiting...

Purchased the Deluxe Edition of Courage thinking I have all the new released tracks only to find out there's a song called "Soul" a (Japanese Bonus Track) I get aggravated when I have to buy other copies to get all the songs!

So I have this guy with whom I have this odd on-and-off chase thing going on. He's a Céline fan too (well sort of). communication isn't always our strongest point. When I heard The Chase I thought "this SPEAKS!".

 

So I told him about the new album and sent him a link for The Chase. Thinking he'll get it. Eagerly waiting an answer he replied something along the lines of:

 

"That's a lot of songs on one album."

To be fair, I wouldn't say "finally" - she posted that yesterday (didn't we already discuss it? or am I imagining that?), and she posted pre-release as well, so it's not like she hasn't been supportive. And her team posted numerous times, plus added the song to their playlists. They've been more supportive than most of the other high-profile co-writers, in fact.

I have fallen in love with baby today and continue to love change my mind. Also loving all of the bonus tracks. This album is totally a grower! Woke up this morning and I can't explain it but a lot of the songs sound different to me today. It's like you almost have to be in the correct mood to take it all in if that makes sense.

I definitely get you there! On my first listen I was a little confused cause it’s a different kind of sound for her, but it really is taking shape for me! It’s very much adventurous, just like her fashion lately. In a weird way, it all meshes together effortlessly. I am adoring it more and more with each listen!!
