But can you explain why is it wrong? I don't understand. We had 4 songs before the album released and it was ok. Here, 2 weeks before, we have 12 more. And on the 15th, we'll have the album in our hands + 4 more songs. I think it's ok, I don't understand where is the problem? But I'm open to read your explanation

 

We had those four songs legally, that’s the difference right there and anyone who needs to even ask what the problem is...honestly I have no words!

I've decided not to listen to the album untill it's released officially, but I'm very interested to read everyone's impressions. It's like getting mini-teasers to build up the excitement, so keep them coming, please!

There are people who showed up today with, like, 6 posts since 2000, suddenly demanding a link.

And for each of those, there are many more who won't say a word but will grab it and pass it on.

To pretend that this sort of thing isn't detrimental to the artist and doesn't eat into the eventual success (or not) of the album - because some of these people may have bought tickets or intend to stream - is just ignorance and denial.

It gets really annoying to get such remarks like that about people not commenting regularly or being new members. .. For the past weeks, it's been on and and on... I have this account for a few years, but had another account before for years, probably since 2008. I don't comment most of the time but comes here everyday. The basis of a forum is that it doesn't belong to anyone and it's fed by all types of members. So it would be great that more active members stay cordial and friendly to others. Maybe it will push us to comment more regularly! And I haven't listened to the leak (yet) and personally have no problem with this, as I know that 1/ it's most likely leaked by Team Celine 2/ we spent and still will spend a lot of money on Celine... In terms of respect to her work, I personally believe that it is enough. A release date doesn't mean much nowadays. It's all about how much we talk bout it. Whatever the way. Cheers, T.

I regularly post in the tour thread I just haven’t posted much in this. I’ve pre ordered the album and will of course stream it as I use Spotify premium. Asking for a link that everyone seems to have access to is really not that big a deal

Here, like a lot of people already said, the leak comes SURELY from Team Céline! For me it's OBVIOUS. Why we don't have the full album with the 20 songs? If it wasn't done by Team Céline, we would have been able to hear the whole 20 songs.

I've always been impatient in my life, because we don't know what will happen tomorrow. And as I already said, on the 15th, I won't be able to listen to the album carefully, I'm glad to have been at my place today, a Sunday, and had time to listen to it carefully . But during the evening of the 15th, I will listen to the album physically and read the lyrics, + I will discover 4 more songs

 

 

(by the way the best song for me is "Look at us now" and I can't stop listening to it ^^)

I don’t get this, how can an album leak so early nowadays? I was expecting Tuesday or so the week of the release but not so early. This shouldn’t hurt physical sales, but it will hurt first week streaming numbers (which are a big part of charts). Many people that are not fans would have listen to it on Spotify out of curiosity, now if they get it illegally first is one less stream. If it hasn’t been a “staged leak”, I think the big mistake here was waiting so long to release the bloody album. She could have just dropped the whole thing weeks ago as a surprise release and this may not have happened. It’s still a lot stronger album than LMBTL was but a lot of the songs are either stripped back piano songs or cater to the modern sounding pop market. Ok so for years I've always done the same for Céline: buying the album physically (sometimes twice when there is a collector album), and "buying it" on iTunes (and since a few years, I have a subscription that I pay every month). I don't know why I would change my habits this time, and moreover I don't know HOW. How is it possible to "stream it a lot"? On YouTube?

 

I just listened to the songs today, I will buy the album physically (and twice) and also add the songs on iTunes when they will be officially realeased, as it was my plan. And I'm pretty sure that non-fans won't search for an obscure link to have the album in advance (nobody among my friends who like Céline wrote me to tell me "ohhhhhh I saw that the album leaked" ^^). So they will just stream it on the 15th...

Calm down people, only the die hard fans on this forum had access to the leak and will buy both the standard and the deluxe edition on its release day anyway, because we are collectors and want the physical versions!
