By the way I'm super happy to listen to it now, because it's a Sunday, I have plenty of time, I can listen to it without being interrupted. On the 15th it's a Friday, I'll have to work all day, and a presentation very early so I won't be able to wait until midnight on the Thursday night etc.

 

For most people it's more convenient to listen to it today, and to have it in our hands on the 15th

Only 16 tracks have been leaked and play me like a love song is not one of them 😔 sounds edgy so far, first thoughts are it’s good but not classic Céline, I need more of a listen....

 

And I will be buying 2 copies anyway, digital and physical copy so don’t try me 🙄🙈

The most surprising element of the album to me is this classic RnB vibe she's got going on ... overall its stylistically cohesive in a way that I haven't seen in an English album since the 90's. Would love to share my thoughts about individual songs but I'm just going to leave it at that.

Because its disrespectful to the hard work put in by Celine and her team. Theyve kept this quiet, built up months of hype and have probably worked their asses off on this to make a great album, all that, and 12 days before the release it’s leaked and people start spreading it as if thats okay. Its morally wrong. Its clear you have zero empathy and clearly dont care, which is fine, if you want to be that way, Its no skin off my back. But just know that it would be very easy for those who leaked it and spread it to be... shall we say... legally apprehended. Its clear youve never experienced something like this, otherwise it would be different. But alas, its not

OMG Change My Mind is so single material. i'm in awe. It sounds so current, powerful, indie rock rnb, so LP...

So to spread happiness, I gave the link to anyone who asked me on this forum (but not my friends who are not fans of Céline, who won't buy it). Just to make them HAPPY as I was. I didn't want to be selfish.

 

But if someone in Céline's team is UNHAPPY because of that, I would know that. But you're not in the Céline's team, right? You just THINK that it's disrespectful for them, right? You are not sure of this? But do you understand why it is something very complicated? To please other fans without hurting some?

Agreed! To me there are definitely songs as tributes to Rene. But I can't decide if a few of these are references to Pepe and her friendship with him. I don't want to say too much else until release day. Either way, it's a very soulful album. I love the sound. Definitely still Celine!

 

And before anyone starts, I ordered both the MP3 and physical album of the deluxe edition.
