I think i want them first to release a new music video before releasing the album. You know to increase the excitement for the new album

I like the fact that she is wearing the tour opening dress on the album cover, since they have the same motto "Courage". And the scenery of the photoshoot is superb! I think it's in Vegas, what do you think?

 

And what do you guys think, was this fire circle photoshopped or did she realy stand inside of it?

Vinyl release update: there was a vinyl release scheduled for the album (they hadn't decided to release the standard or deluxe version about 2 weeks ago), but unfortunately there won't be one after all, at least, for now. Our source suspects because it wasn't ordered that good by most countries, so that it wouldn't warrant the production of it. That's how it is at the moment.

My gosh! Yes Please.. Stevie Nicks appeared on AHS twice! AHS: Coven and in AHS: Apocalypse!! She sang there too and act of course. This is the time for Céline to act and to sing on that tv show

The tour logo is Ugly AF. The front cover is amazingly modern I love it more than any other cover since ANDHC

My feeling about this album:

• It will be a major success, proportionate to the success she received in francophone countries with Sans Attendre and Encore Un Soir.
  
• It will perform better than and eventually outsell LMBTL in every major market.
  
• It will receive the best critical reviews of her English career.
  
• It will be her most coherent album since ANDHC.
  
• It will be better in terms of production than any of her albums since ANDHC.
  
• It will be nominated for more awards than any of her albums since ANDHC. Not expecting any major awards though.
  

I will come back to check this post and see if I got things right in a year from now.

I also have to say that they seem to be avoiding mistakes they made with LMBTL:

• No random covers in the album.
  
• No duets.
  
• No bedroom voice.
  
• No boring B&W cover.
  
• No representing Celine as something different than she is.
  
• No awkward vocal warm-ups during promo interviews.
  
• No lack of music video for the first official single.
  
• No lack of album theme and concept.
  
• No lack of tour to support the album. Although I am not blaming them for this.
  

There were so many things that annoyed me with LMBTL. I just realized that.

I think Celine is long overdue to win a GRAMMY or any big award here in the US. “5” Grammys is a huge accomplishment especially for someone who doesn’t write their own songs but it doesn’t feel like enough when some artists are winning 5 or more in the same years ceremony. She’s long overdue....ANDHC was robbed of an award; however if we are being real “Taking Chances” and “Loved Me Back To Life” both weren’t Grammy worthy, so I so hope that “Courage” is.

None of her releases was Grammy worthy - I agree. And I include One Heart and Miracle to this. Miracle.

 

I think all her releases post-ANDHC came with glaring mistakes. Could either be recycled songs, or rushed vocals, or lacking thematic coherence, or lacking originality, or bad album cover and so on. I am feeling Courage will be way above average in every aspect. I mean... the album cover alone.

After that we get the regular posts about the tour, or fashion shots.

Exact. Just imagine if the LTAL album had been released in October 1997 ... Celine would be nominated for the 1998 Grammy Awards instead of 1999 and then certainly in the midst of the Titanic boom would have won many more awards.

 

If Sony and her team want Courage not to be forgotten at the time of the awards season, they should release several singles and music videos to keep Celine's name and voice in everyone's mind.

IMO she has a better shot at an album nomination if any, than one of her singles, but who knows...

 

EDIT: Actually, this year's period ended August 31st (last year it was Sept 30th)..
